I like the sleek design and the feel of the material on the speakers. I have an LG tv and there was no problem setting this Vizio surround sound system up to it. The main speaker hooks up to your TV and the satellite speakers plug into the subwoofer. What I really appreciate is that the satellite speakers come with long enough wiring so that you can really put them where you want without worrying about running out of length. My previous system only had 3ft wiring. This system the wiring is at least 10 ft. The bass from the subwoofer is outstanding (depending on the movie you’re watching of course) but I could feel the bass through my couch! Only negative I would say is that it does not come with a remote of any kind. You have to download the Vizio app and control the speakers from the app. However, the app does have some pretty cool features. You can change the color of the LED lights on the speaker, personalize your sound levels, and test each speaker individually if you think one isn’t working properly. I just think it should just come with a physical remote as an added option. Not everyone is tech savvy. Perfect and definitely worth the money. I got it for just over $300 USD, it is the 2024 refresh model, got everything needed to get all its features working, such as dolby atmos. Extremely clear audio, hdmi connectivity is effortless and very appreciated, it does Bluetooth as well and that works super seamlessly and easy. The bass is fantastic, booming, wayyyy more than most weaker listeners would need. Im a bass guy so I truly appreciate the thunder and boom when im watching something. The rear speakers are super nice as well, very high quality and setup was literally a few minutes. Just plug stuff in and set it where it needs to go and boom. All done. I loveeeeee the adjusting side speakers on the soundbar, you will likely want them up or set to wide if you have the speaker slightly lower than your sitting or laying position, 10x more immersion and louder, clarity also is better with the up firing drivers. The app is absolutely fantastic as well, provides a plethora of features and options for the soundbar, way more than any other soundbar I've used, samsung, bose, LG, onn, etc. So Bravo vizio. Just buy it. Thats all I have to say. Nothing is better than this for the price. Even the ultimeas cannot compare. At least not with the sound quality and immersiveness. Read more

This is a great budget system that makes some compromises, but not in the sound quality department. Full disclosure, this was purchased as a Prime Day deal so the pricing was VERY attractive. I would not have paid $499 for any surround system for my use case right now. I was skeptical that this system would work in the space I was intending and have the ability to fill the room with sound but it was both remarkable, and unbelievable at the same time. The subwoofer really kicks and and the sound bar and satellite speakers are really clear and can handle lots of volume. The soundbar projects clean audio really well. What you give up: Mostly connectivity. All you get here is one eArc HDMI port and one USB port. You get Bluetooth, but no wi-fi streaming. You do not get a remote. My old system had a remote I never used it so this is a personal preference. The Vizio App gives you lots of ways to customize the sound through both EQ settings and other advanced sound customizations. After a bit I had nailed down some sound profiles I was really pleased with for movies, TV, and music. The app is good and works fine as a remote but from time to time it will loose Bluetooth connectivity with the speaker or it can lag. Most of the time it will reconnect fairly quickly but you have been warned. You also loose the ability to see numeric volume numbers on your tv or speaker but it was not a deal breaker for me. In summary: This system is a keeper for me and I was actually shocked how full and immersive the sound is with this system. It was well worth what I paid for it and recommend it for the person who is either budget conscious or needs a secondary system for an extra tv in either a bedroom or spare room. Tenia un sistema Vizio 5.1 modelo M51 compatible con Dolby Atmos y la verdad suena muy bien en general pero la hacia falta bajos mas intensos. Compré este sistema hace un par de dias y la verdad si mejora la experiencia, sonido mas potente y con bajos bien definidos e intensos, la probe con Gozdilla Minus One y se escucha increible los efectos asi como con Dolby Atomos con Estado Electrico en Netflix. Detecta automaticamente el formato de audio Atmos y las bocinas laterales giran hacia arriba encendiendo la luz que le configures. Otro punto a favor es la calida premium de los materiales del equipo, se siente de muy buena construcción y luce muy bien en la sala. La conexión bluetooth la hace rapido y sin problemas, el sonido con musica va de bueno a muy bueno dependiendo el tipo de musica que te guste y si eliges el EQ preset DIRECT tiene bajos mejor logrados. Finalmente se debe hacer incapie en que desde la publicación menciona que el sistema NO TRAE CONTROL REMOTO DEDICADO O FISICO, todo lo controlas desde la aplicación por celular, pero honestamente funciona muy bien y solo lo ocupas casi al inicio para dejar a tu gusto los niveles de audio y presets, despues de eso lo usas muy poco. El control remoto de mi anterior sistema lo tenia guardado y casi ni sabia que lo tenia. Todo lo controlas desde el control de la TV (conectado a un puerto HDMI ARC/eARC). En resumen: excelente sonido para películas que si eres cinefilo o simplemente te gustan mucho las series y peliculas, con este sistema las vas a disfrutar al maximo y aunque el costo parece un poco elevado, vale cada peso. i moved (or tried to move) from a (2023) vizio 2.1 soundbar to this, and discovered, after spending the entire afternoon setting everything up, that an HDMI IN connection is no longer available on 2024 vizio soundbars. as i have no other way to hook things up, am returning this. it's probably great, but not here, nor for anyone who needs that input. very disappointing. Very pleased- I got worried reading bad reviews about connectivity, but I'm using this with a TCL 65Q750G and no problems at all. TV recognized it automatically and sent the sound to it without me havingto do anything. No problem getting the app work either. I like it- I didn't want another remote anyway. Tested it out with Thor: Love & Thunder and it sounded great, no issues. I have a little hearing loss and the "clear dialog" in the app ended up being a pretty dramatic perk for me. You do lose the volume level numbers on the TV, but didn’t take long to get used to it. The volume level is very different depending on what TV app I'm using; I'll have to look into that. This sound home theater system sounds good. Has a clean and emmersive sound. I also like the design throughout, but my one thing that takes one star is the fact that you're forced to use an app in lieu of a remote to take advantage of the full features of this system. This app allows you to customize your experience with the sounds in theory. My issue is that it wasn't working for me. Many of the features were either not working or not available in the app. I couldn't even control basic things like mute, volume or input selections. When watching shows like stranger things you feel like you are there. Everything shakes like in a movie theater. Soround speakers are small but very powerful. Way better than my JBL Bar 500 and the JBL is more expensive. No remote control but you can use the app. It works really well in our living room. I really love it and enjoy listening to music and watching movies/shows. It was very easy to set up. Easier than JBL at least. Read more

Little update: After having the setup for a few weeks, my biggest issue is that the bluetooth connection takes a long time establish. This is only REALLY a problem when switching between audio modes for music and back for viewing shows. Movie mode has too much bass for music to be enjoyed and music mode lacks the full surround sound for movie immersion. It is here I wish it did have a simple remote with a toggle. Original: I "upgraded" to this 185w surround system from a 600w Samsung 2.1 soundbar from a couple years ago... I was skeptical, but the Atmos intrigued me and let me tell you... ZERO regrets in purchasing this 5.1.2 system. It sounded amazing out of the box and minimal fuss with settings thanks to modern eARC and CEC. I mean, wow... No physical remote, but I highly suggest getting the app (which IS the remote and visual EQ) to toggle between music and video mode - the difference is very noteworthy. Otherwise you just use the ARC or CEC of your TV/streamer to control the volume, power, mute. It came with everything need in the box as well, from rated HDMI cable to Velcro cable ties - which is quite nice. We tested with Spotify playing some tracks from the musical Wicked, I appreciated the isolated violins and cellos in the rear speakers. And watched Oppenheimer in HDR10+ with 7.1 Dolby Atmos (which processed to 5.1.2 for the Vizio. Considering that TV has become a regular recreation for my wife and I, the money is well spent and the device will see daily use. For a dollar a day... It's paid for itself by the end of the year!
