One of the easiest wind instruments to play, it can be played without strict requirements on breath and mouth shape.
It is somewhat similar to the sounding principle and structure of Guxiang. However, the ancient dam is a closed-tube side-lou pronunciation, which requires a specific mouth shape to produce normal music; while the ocarina is a whistle-like side-lou pronunciation, and the requirements for the mouth shape are not strict.

How to play the ocarina?
1.How to hold the flute: After holding the flute, relax the upper arm naturally, form an angle of about 30° with the body, and look forward
2.Mouth shape requirements: the upper and lower lips are naturally relaxed, gently supporting the mouthpiece of the ocarina. 1/2 to 2/3 of the general suction nozzle
3.Breath requirements: Take a deep breath when inhaling, and spit out the airflow smoothly and evenly when exhaling
4.Hold the end of the ocarina with the ring fingers of both hands, with the right hand on the top and the left hand on the bottom
5.Press the two sound holes on the back of the ocarina with the thumbs of both hands, press the index finger and middle finger on the front four holes, and hold the ocarina in a natural posture
6.The correct position of the finger press hole should be the belly of the first finger, which can avoid the phenomenon of finger air leakage
