After trialling this chair we bought a second one. Very compact and fits in my bikes saddlebags. Easy to assemble frame and cover makes for a quick setup and fold away. Not too low to the ground so getting in and out of is pretty easy as well. I'm happy to use this instead of our larger mainstream camp chairs. Read more

As noted by many this chair looks to be made from very sturdy materials. At 187 lbs I find the chair to be quite stable. I knocked a star off because I found that constructing it proved to be a chore as the chair material appears to be too small for the frame. It requires a bit of strength to stretch the chair over the frame. I imagined getting to my destination at the end of the day, with the mosquitoes buzzing and having to wrestle with the chair. I have left the chair up in the hope that the material will stretch out a bit. Read more

Love this chair. In the past I would never even consider taking a chair on a backpacking trip, but at 63 years old I really appreciate the comfort of this chair at the end of the day. At just under 2 pounds without the case and the little sand feet. It is totally worth the weight. I have tried several other chairs that are about half the weight of this one and they are nowhere near as comfortable The lighter ones being too low to the ground to get in and out of , or very crushing on my man parts to sit in. Made a really thin seat materials or highly unstable due to leg design. I love this one as it is really sturdy. It Looks like it will last a long time, has just the right angle where you can set up straight and operate your cook stove or put your feet up and kick back. everything about it feels high-quality and durable. I just lay the seat out and put the legs inside of it and roll it up like a burrito and put a lightweight bungee on it and it fits nicely in my pack I highly recommend it. Read more

Great chair! I'm really going to enjoy this. I'm not exactly an ultralight backpacker but I do like to keep things light. So - I took the chair out of its storage bag and packed just the frame and the seat cover reducing the weight to 1.86 lbs. I realize there are other chairs for 1.1 lbs and 1.3 lbs. - but those chairs have a price tag of one hundred dollars more than this one. And they are less durable. For the money - this is one of the better backpacking chairs on the market and probably the best value. It's durable. Super sturdy. It's comfortable and sits high enough off the ground that you can easily get up and down. I am very happy with it. I don't usually take a chair backpacking unless its more of a social trip (think women's backpacking trip) when I expect there to be campfires and stories in the evenings and a chair is great for sitting around the campfire. When I expect there to be a campfire - this will be my go to chair. I really can't wait for my next backpacking trip. Sitting around a fire after a long day on the trail will be amazing in this chair. So - I'm giving it a full 5 Stars! It's really nice. Super well made. Good stitching.
