The assembly wasn't too difficult, but the instructions could use more information. Mostly just vague pictures of what to do. The quality is good for the price. The file drawer (which is what I needed) works great because it has glides, but the other drawers kind of drag since they don't. They are just wood grooves, so you get what you pay for. Almost!! I really wanted to give this Desk 5 Stars and would have, if it wouldn't have been off with the screw holes. First let's discuss the Instructions and Assembly. I always leave this to the "manual" guy in the house. He lays out all the parts to make sure everything is there. Nothing like missing parts and having it almost assembled. He said it was easy Peasy to assemble and follow the instructions and there was One extra Screw for each section. I like that the drawers can be on the left or right and BEST of all, the drawers are real!! Not fabric drawers that won't hold up and, the File (bottom) drawer has the rails for Hanging file folders. The video shows the one issue we had, where the single piece of wood that mounts, wasn't and won't align with the seam. Now, I ADDED a much needed shelf to the Desktop. It was also purchased on Amazon, but the drawer on the shelf, is cloth. It's ok here as it holds small insidentals. Very nice desk. Fast delivery. The Assembly was quite easy, especially with the printed instructions in conjunction with the assembly video, I was able to assemble without any assistance The desk is very sturdy and well constructed. The only complaint I have is that the desk top is in two pieces and the seam although straight still has a small gap which is very noticeable and although I am using a large mouse pad you can feel the seam when passing over it. I would recommend that the desk top should be one piece and then this desk would be perfect. The drawers are all strong and well constructed and is the main reason I made this purchase. I appreciated the extra piece in each bag of screws and the addition of a screwdriver and two allen keys. This is a very solid desk and great value for the dollars I spent and would highly recommend to any one. Read more
