How to Use the 3D Edge Probe

According to the position of the workpiece to be measured, move the probe to the position of the workpiece, and use the step-by-step approach to approach the workpiece.

The 3D Edge Probe Adjustment

After mounting the 3D edge probe on the machine, the spindle is rotated to check the runout of the probe ball.

The ball of the probe is checked for runout and adjusted with four M3 set screws until 0.01mm runout is obtained.

Adjust the ball of the probe with the four M3 set screws until a runout of 0.01mm is obtained, then tighten the screws.

The screws are then tightened and the probe is ready for use.
