I got this in December in Boston. My partner thought I was crazy, but we have been getting birds constantly all month! It was fairly easy to assemble and super easy to install. However, there are significant gaps which the included foam doesnt fill properly. So you will need your own insulation tape to prevent drafts or bugs from coming through. The wood is solid and i expect it will last for years. It looks cool and has provided lots of entertainment for myself, and our cat. I expected much less for the price. It's possible more pricy models would have fewer gaps but it was exactly what i wanted to pay to see if the birds would even come. If i had another window that would work with this type of feeder I'd buy a second one! Read more

Assembly was extremely difficult, and would not work on my window. Slants easily while assembling, sliding walls were extremely difficult to slot into place. On windows that are a standard width, it also fails to protect the seeds from the elements due to the “door” being extremely wide. Should work well with thinner windows though. Very cool! The birds and squirrels use it and we can watch them up close! I want to reach out and touch them! My only complaint about the unit is it lets in air around the edges. It has a tendency to start to tilt very slightly and then there is a gap that lets in the cold air. I have to give it a little tug to straighten it out every now and again. But otherwise, it is exactly what we expected and we are enjoying it a lot! Read more
