The Buddha missed out on the express route to enlightenment by not having this keyboard. Not even the dark forces of Microsoft Word can dampen my delight at writing when my fingers rest lightly on this device. Oh man do I love this keyboard. But it’s full sized and heavy, this is definitely not made to toss into a backpack and take to a cafe for some thoughtful writing. No, this is meant to have at your desk and positioned just so and let your muscle memory take over. It’s tall, as in rises up off the surface of whatever it’s resting on quite a bit. But don’t let that dissuade you because it means the full-height key caps are moulded perfectly to give you that finger-tip feel for exactly where your fingers should rest. I have the banana yellow switches and the sound of the THUNK when I get rolling as I type is glorious music. I’m convinced I’m at least 20% faster as a typist with this keyboard. I have the Gateron Jupiter Banana Switch and I love it. It feels buttery smooth. I can type faster and the sound is great. Comparing to my other keyboards (Logitech G915, Roccat Vulcan TLK Pro), this is way better. Negatives: 1. Very heavy. The weight is due to the CNC machined aluminum case. 2. No retractable stand so the angle is fixed, not that I need adjustment. 3. Comes in Mac configuration. Why? There are more Windows users in the world. I have to change the keycaps - tools and Win + ALT key caps are supplied. There is also a LOCK key cap that I'm not sure what it is for, maybe for Mac. 4. No light for Caps Lock. 5. Pricey, esp when the full size version is only $5 away, but seems worth it. Amazon delivery is fast. It only takes a day. NOTE: It comes with a black USB-C cable.
