Bought this to start my tour across the country. I still might use it after some heavy modifying. First, the 3 front drawers do NOT lock. They barely even close. After a single use, the middle drawer won’t stay closed at all. I’m going to attach some kind of lockable latches to them. The top armrest portion DOES lock…odd choice. I guess you could store your valuables in the slot under the armrest but space is super limited as it’s the shallowest little cubby. Very solid armrest. I dig it. Unfortunately you’re both going to have to sit on the floor to use it. Not usable at standard chair height. The plastic or resin hard surface that turns the case into a tat tray got massively cut up and damaged just from pulling it out from where it’s stored. Bummer but it’s still usable. I’ll probably pour some resin on top to seal it. Crazy solid idea here. Could be extremely useful for conventions, but with every positive, there’s a negative right along side it. I guess that’s the balance of life. The rolly wheels are super smooth. No negative there! We’ll see how this thing holds up to tat-life. I’ll include a photo of the piece I used this setup on, so you know I’m not some kitchen-wizard tat-man.
