The pens arrive in a ziplock plastic bag and are exactly as advertised. Each pen has its own converter so you get three in the set alongside the 12 (6x blue and 6x black) full size universal ink cartridges. The pens has a good weight to them, and the wood has a deeper and more beautiful finish than is shown in the photos. The nibs are, surprisingly, replaceable which I did not expect. This means they might need a little gentle re-tightening when you get the pens as they may have come a little loose in transit. Aside from that, pop in one of the included cartridges (or use bottle ink and the convertor) and you're ready to go. My pens worked immediately with no issues at all, and are a pleasure to write with. They are pleasantly tactile to use, with no excess scratchiness. As a set that's ready to use with no additional outlay, this is an absolute bargain of a set for beginner and regular fountain user alike if they want to have an everyday set of wooden fountain pens. It's worth noting that the cap does not post onto the pen. It is not designed to, nor it is needed. Die Füller gefallen mir sehr. Sie sind sehr günstig und ich war positiv überrascht. Die Füller lassen sich schnell und einfach füllen. Normal Standard Patronen passen ebenfalls.
