This tablet would have received a 5 of 5 rating but . . . The only thing I really didn't like about this well RUNNING Android tablet, is it doesn't have a "jack" input for regular head phone's jack! And since I'm one of those whom have studied RF Radiation for 18 years, I'm not going to use any kind of BT head set, no matter how much I want to listen to a professor of physics give scientific facts about the dangers of Blue Tooth Devices, plugged into thine ears! I'd just have to wait until I get home to hear the sects etc. SO now, again it is a REALLY Fantastic Tablet, and should get at least a 5 in 5 Rating . . . if it had a conventional ear plug jack just ""with a rubber PLUG,"" so if it is submerged under water it would not get inside the tablets electronics, just exactly like the rubber PLUGS for any, or most other HOLES that are rubber plug compatible also! A great deal considering all the perks you get with this tablet. Extreme weather conditions make this perfect for traveling in cold winter weather or hot summer days. I'm not going to test the rugged part by throwing it on the ground as I've seen others do in reviews, but the casing is like a tank. Heavier than I was expecting but the durability is worth the extra weight. And the battery lasts a LONG time. The screen is very responsive. I've only had this a couple of weeks but so far this is a good value for the price. And call quality on the cell phone is also crisp and clear. I wish the buttons were positioned along the length of the tablet rather than the end width. It takes a little getting used to having this tablet on its stand in portrait orientation and making sure the volume and power buttons aren't accidentally depressed. Pleased with this purchase. What a great tablet. I've carried a rugged phone by another brand for a little over a year. And when I discovered that companies made these rugged tablets I had to check this one out it had great reviews and price point on it it's good. Compared to my old tablet which wasn't what I considered a low Brand this one is much faster and works a lot smoother. No issues with it. I do notice if you take pictures with the camera in less than ideal lighting the pictures aren't the best but other than that it's great. Sound of the speakers is great. Watching videos very crisp no lag playing games no lag. Battery life is amazing. And because it's me this is already hit the floor a couple of times and being a rugged tablet that's what it's made for. I've never had a tablet with a hand strap option. I didn't think I would use it or like it and I'll have a hard time using a tablet without one now I think. I'm hoping this company is rugged phones become available more widely in Canada soon I would consider getting one based on this tablet. Edit: Had this for quite awhile now. Still love the tablet. DESPISE!!! where the power button is located. Most tablets I've had the power button on the long side of the device. This one has the power and sound buttons on the short side "bottom" of the tablet. This thing is heavy enough that laying down the weight of the tablet is just enough to press the power button it it's against something solid like a tablet stand or belt buckle.
