In the beginning my only gripe with the remote was that it was a little harder to press the buttons and that it didn't have the samsung logo on it like my original. That was fine and definitely wasn't a deal breaker. After about 6 weeks of ownership my remote randomly "froze" and I couldn't use it for 2 days. I was forced to revert to my samsung smart things app to navigate my tv. About 2 weeks after that it stopped working completely. I tried charging the remote in sunlight and USB-C cables, resetting the remote, and even letting it sit like last time. Overall in my opinion this remote isn't worth the $50 it's advertised. If you want a device that you can ensure upholds the same quality, I highly recommend ordering from the samsung parts website and spending the extra $50 on quality. Read more

My oem remote died on two fire sticks so I was using my TV remote which worked but not line it should, bought these and they paired up easy and work great. Makes life so much easier when something works correctly, hope they hold up better than the junk ones my fire sticks came with. Read more
