I have postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome and this causes me to have severe heat intolerance. If I get too warm my body can't regulate itself and it can cause me to vomit, feel incredibly ill and sometimes even faint. The AC at my job routinely breaks every year so I decided to get ahead of the game and get myself a personal fan (because the fan they keep here often gets confiscated to give to customers) and this little fan is awesome! I plugged it right into my USB phone charger and its so small I can put it in my purse with no problem. It hardly weighs anything but cools me down quickly despite being so small. I can even plug it into a power bank for use on public transit or other areas where I can't normally get a fan. I used to carry around chemically activated single use ice packs but I won't need to do that anymore with this little fan! Read more

It is not portable, need to plug to a power source for it to work. Bought it because I thought can be charged and bring around for use. It is light weight and not noisy, not sure will stay that way. Read more

Really great little fan. Not sure why, but I find it works better than any other fan i've ever used. It might be cause the front is actually flat rather than curved. I am always hot and usually have the air conditioner on al the time or i'm dying of heat. I found that if I use this fan and direct it towards my face, it helps keep me cool without needing to use the air conditioner. The reason I was trying to find a fan even though I have an air conditioner is because the air conditioner costs a lot in electric, and it makes noise so if i'm making calls to clients when i'm working from home, the air conditioner makes a bit of noise in the background, whereas with the fan, I just need to point it towards my face but in a way that it doesn't make windy sounds into the speaker of the phone, so it works pretty good, i'm impressed enough that i'm writing a review about a desk fan, lol. Lovely fan as described no doubt. The only problem is it moves, you place it in one spot half an hour later it slides. I just wish the manufacturer placed small rubber cushions in the bottom to make a good grip on the surface. I managed to solve this problem by placing two cabinet door bumpers. Read more
