I ordered this matcha originally and it was the best thing I had ever tasted, however when I ordered again, I noticed the packaging of my matcha had changed. The matcha in the new packaging seems to be much lower quality. Exactly as the other one star review for this item states. Included are pictures of the original packaging from my first order about a week ago next to the packaging of my second order I received yesterday. I also will include a photo of a matcha latte I made with the first order I received, va the second. Notice the matcha is much yellower in the picture from my second order. I also noticed my first order had an expiration date of 1/21/26, while my second order had an expiration date of 1/02/26. Which is strange because you would expect your most recent order to be the freshest. Maybe I’m crazy, but it seems like they send their best quality out to first time customers so that they can get great reviews & hook customers on their brand, then when they reorder they send a cheaper, lower quality matcha thinking most people won’t notice, and those that do likely won’t bother writing a second review about it.
