You can consider it an investment but I believe a good towel is worth longevity and performance you get out of it. This one is very nice. The material is soft and absorbent but doesn't sop or drip (if it does get that wet). It's airy and light to use, so I can wear it around my neck for a time without it heating up. It does dry quite quickly, especially in a warmer environment.
