On a Kobra 2 MAX, the nozzle is all over the place temp wise, it bumps 5 degrees up and cools, so the temperature is not even. It was extremely difficult to remove the nozzle it came with. I had to use a bench vise, a heat gun and a vice grips to get it out. Could be good but it has to work right with nozzle PID. Read more

I recently had to replace the not end on my Anycubic K2Pro. Ordered this because for the price, you can't beat it. This fits the K2Pro and was easy enough to install. My only problem is that for some reason, it now levels off center-so the nozzle comes down off of one edge of the print bed. The first print after leveling and recalibrating went a little haywire, but after turning it off and on again, I was able to get it to print correctly-even though it was still off center. I don't think that's necessarily the fault of this hot end, because as long as I can account for it being off center, it prints. I'll probably replace the entire print carriage at some point-which is way easier than replacing the hot end on these, btw. Read more

Easy replacement, well made upgrade!

Showing the original one on the left, it has about 100 hours of printing on it. You can immediately see why this new head heats so quickly: it’s much smaller, plus all the improved material things they say in the product description. Replacement was easy - just ensure the head is cool. Remove the plastic print head cover (3 screws) and release the two set screws on the print head fin area. There are two 2-wire plugs to remove, and the old head drops right out. The upgraded head has a shorter blue teflon(?) tube, plus a spare. The heat sock is pre-installed (shown in my photo), and there’s also a spare heat-sock provided. Plug in the new two plugs, tighten back the 2 set screws, and replace the plastic print head cover. Load up one of the test prints (I did the dinosaur) and adjust your z-height, just like replacing any print nozzle. Read more
