There is a lot to like with this flashlight, but it's brightness being close to 1 million lumens is laughable, it's not even 1% of that. I have a lab tested Maglite that is 1080 lumens confirmed, and this flashlight in a concentrated beam is maybe 10% brighter at best. The Good: - It is very bright - Beam can be adjusted very wide or very concentrated - It charges fast - It has several dim functions, a strobe function, and an SOS function - It displays battery life on the side. - Cost, at only $25, it did give my old $96 Maglite a decent challenge. The Bad - The claimed lumens number is a flat out lie. The diode may be capable of a much higher brightness, but the consumer won't ever see it. - As the battery drains, the brightness drops pretty significantly, at about 50%, it's time to recharge - The power button is frustrating to find in the dark. Final thoughts For the price, it is definitely worth what you pay. But adjust your expectations, you aren't buying a flashing a Navy Seal is going to be using. Read more

I expected this to be smaller than it is but it feels really good in my hand. It feels a little heavy giving the impression that it is sturdy. I really like the digital battery readout so there is no question how full the charge is. The beam is quite bright and there are brightness and flashing options. I at first didn’t like that you have to press the button several times to cycle through the different modes to turn it off but I found that if you press and hold the button, it will turn off immediately rather than having to cycle through the modes. I came with a bunch of accessories that I’m not sure I’ll use including a holster, AAA alkaline battery holder option that can be swapped out for the rechargeable battery it comes with, and some others. One thing that was cool was the little black light that comes with it; its a really fun little gadget and amazing to check the carpet and see all the lint, strings, etc… that regular light doesn’t show. My favorite part of both the flashlight and the black light is that they use a USB-C charging plug so it can be charged with the same cord my cell phone and other devices use, no hunting for a random odd charging plug. Right now, I have a lot better sense of readiness, particularly for those unanticipated power outages or for those times when I need a dependable light source when I am exploring dark paths. It has a sturdy feel to it, yet it is not too cumbersome, which is a perfect balance for a tool that is used in an emergency situation. The material has a really sturdy feel to it, and the design is quite sophisticated. It seems to be able to withstand a few bumps or drops without any problems, which is an essential quality to have when using it for activities that take place outside or in situations that are tough. Having a charging connector that is compatible with USB-C is a really helpful feature since it enables me to fast charge the flashlight without the need for certain cords. Considering that many of my other electronic devices also utilize USB-C, I believe that this seemingly little aspect adds a great deal of value. After putting this device to use in a number of scenarios in which I needed a sturdy beam, I was astonished by how far it could reach—up to 5000 feet, as the manufacturer promised it could. I was able to change the brightness of the flashlight to meet my specific requirements, and it illuminated the whole camping area. The flashlight also had a variety of light settings. In my opinion, the high power is not only astonishing but also quite useful in several situations. It does not matter whether I am trying to find anything in my yard at night or if I am attempting to find my way down a route that is totally dark; the beam is powerful enough to offer a clear vision. Very powerful little handheld, with substantial weight and grip-ability, i.e. easy to hold while walking your dog at night and can double as weapon when needed! I LOVE the versatility of it being rechargeable AND also offering the ability to easily convert to traditional batteries (all components provided). I love the rechargeable aspect but didn't want to be confined or limited by the potential of it running out of juice in an emergency, et voila! Radius of the light is adjustable, as is the strength. It has an emergency SOS strobe and general strobe. Great price and came with a storage case and mini UV light! After evaluating it's longevity, I'll most definitely be purchasing a couple extra to go into my emergency/hurricane supply box. Read more

This is a great product. Rechargeable and focusable; shedding strong light at great distances. Very much like a spotlight in a theatre when in the focused mode. Very good light for just walking in the dark as well. Light lets you know how charged it is by percentage illustrated. Has five modes but you don't have to go through all five modes to shut it off. Just press the off/on button and hold it until it goes out in about a second and a half. Read more
