I doubled checked to make sure I correctly ordered size 8.5 but as you can see from the pictures they are using the standard clown shoe sizing chart. The shoe on the right is a standard US 8.5. On the other hand, the shoe appeared to be well made and would probably be really comfortable. You should be aware it has zero arch support which may or may not be a problem, but easily corrected if you wear inserts. The shoe looked good as well, but unfortunately it had to be returned. I ordered an all black pair size 10, because Amazon said that was the recommended size, but it was almost 1.5 sizes too big. So I ordered a 9 which fits better but still loose.
