Stop using plastic glides and immediately swap to these glass slides, and I promise you that your in game performance will improve significantly. Very good skates with high durability on my hard mouse pad. These are CONTROL skates, not speed skates. Whereas with the original superglides my mouse moved for the slightest twitch or breathing, these are meant for movements with quick stops. I believe these are best for harder pads, I use the Logitech G440. I would not recommend them on cloth, I didn’t enjoy the experience on a cloth pad. Firstly, I have never used replacement skates (but many different brands of mice, Logi, Razer, Steelseries, Glorious, Corsair, Lamzu etc.) with that caveat out of the way - these skates feel so, so smooth. I love the shape of my mouse (GPX 2) but the stock skates were thin, and very scratchy. I did some Googling and found so many types of varying materials and brands, it was all a bit daunting as a first timer. Thankfully I have a close friend who owns the same mouse, and these skates, I took his recommendation and made the purchase the next day. They shipped quickly, application was simple, and the feeling of the skates? As my headline states, it's in the name - they glide! I'm no E-sports pro, but I do mainly play FPS games where aim and tracking are most important, and even only after a few minutes with these I can already feel the difference in smoothness. My only gripe is that of my own doing, I placed the puck skate on an angle, and it triggers the OCD part of my lizard brain, thankfully I nor anyone else will be looking at the bottom of my mouse. I know mouse feel is subjective and there are a lot of different mouse pads but imo these glass skates are a major upgrade from the plastic stock superlight 2 skates. Very surprised the stock skates are as cheap as they are considering the price of the mouse. Glide is stable and smooth like an air hocky puck. You can add the center skate of you prefer more friction. Contrary to what others are saying they don't add any noticeable weight to the mouse for me. Installation was easy but be sure to remove ALL of the existing adhesive from the stock skate, you should see the plastic mouse base and screw holes before applying the new skates. I didn't have to use heat to remove the old sakes but I did notice there are 2 layers of padding under the stock skate so be sure to remove both layers.
