I have been using just regular FEP film sheets to protect my glass on my Saturn printers before finding these. FEP works fine but not only are you wasting a FEP sheet that could be used for your vat but it really doesn't lay smooth and flat; which may have an impact on print quality. However, these are affordably priced, lay flat and do not impede print quality. So, it's really a no brainer!
