I was hoping that a cordless mask was really going to make my life easier. But not so. The main problem is that it does not indicate when charge is running low. So you have to either charge it very few days "to be on the safe side", or roughly twice per week (for me) my timed eye-heating is spoilt by the pad just turning itself off. Trying to remember to re-charge it every 3 days say (never figured out how often actually needed) doesn't work for me - I forget! Yet I assume recharging it every day will kill the battery pretty fast. ALSO - bit also - the pad itself is quite stiff and on my small head it cannot wrap round well enough to actually touch my eyes (which are the sunken in type). I can only heat my eyelids (for blephoritis) by holding the mast physically pushed up against my eyelids the whole time. Not enjoyable. So I'm going back to buying a wired one. I looked through many heated eye masks after optician told me to get one for my dry eyes and blepharitis. I don’t have a microwave to heat the ones they sold ( microwave bad for health). Saw this as rechargeable. It’s just brilliant. Charges up in an hour. The sweet spot is 8 minutes the optician said…this timer is 15 mins, so I time on my phone and take it off. It takes about 1 minute to get full heat. You have to shift it around a bit to get the best position…also don’t press on it or it’s too hot. It’s perfect heat …. Very relaxing and my blepharitis has gone. I found it needs charging after around 5/6 sessions of 8 minutes. Absolutely best £18 spent. Read more
