Ero un po' spaventato dalle diverse recensioni che ne criticavano la scarsa potenza in uscita, ma ho deciso comunque di acquistarlo anche perché il panorama degli amplificatori compatti che abbiano tutte queste funzioni e davvero limitato. L'alternativa più simile è Bose, ma ovviamente al doppio del prezzo. Partendo dalla premessa, smentisco categoricamente chi dice che la potenza in uscita è insufficiente. Parliamo di un amplificatore digitale compatto con alimentatore integrato, dunque non è il tipo di prodotto che si utilizza in un rave party, o con diffusori di grandi dimensioni e scarsa efficienza. Il corretto utilizzo è sicuramente in accoppiata con monitor da studio di media dimensione, possibilmente con sub attivo (che è gestito da un'uscita sub dedicata). Io ho deciso di utilizzarlo con un sistema Bose Acoustimass 5 serie II restaurato (2 coppie di cubi e sub passivo). Suona brillantemente e a massimo volume il sub passivo viene spinto al limite, con dei bassi un uscita davvero prepotenti. L'applicazione con la quale viene gestito è semplice e ben fatta. Ottimo l'equalizzatore che permette una regolazione davvero precisa di ogni frequenza. Utilizzandolo con Spotify e Chromecast (è impostato come altoparlante definito di un Google Home) è davvero velocissimo nella risposta ai comandi, più veloce e preciso del Google home stesso. La qualità costruttiva mi sembra buona; esteticamente è molto bello. Se devo trovare dei difetti, i connettori banana non entrano completamente negli alloggiamenti (non mi spiego il motivo, davvero frustrante) e ho notato che scalda molto anche in standby. Pojedyncza dioda Led oraz kropeczki od głośności to jedyne informacje poza aplikacją, które można odczytać z urządzenia, dioda led wskazuje na jakim kanale jesteśmy kolorami, które niestety nawet nie są unikalne, tzn. na zielono świeci się gdy jesteśmy w trybie optycznym albo RCA, dopiero w aplikacji można to sprawdzić. Pilot korzysta z WiFi, więc nie dość, że bateria trzyma bardzo krótko (CR2032) to jeszcze budzi to pewne obawy. U mnie gra z monitorami Q Acoustics 3020i i jest OK. Początkowo miałem problem z produktem, ale support ze strony Linkplay Technology Inc. stanął na wysokości zadania. Koniec końców kupiłbym ponownie. Read more

A HiFi enthusiast for 45 years with so many bits of kit , I have lost count . This was bought to look good in the lounge and connect to good quality Monitor Audio speakers . So pleased with this purchase ! What cracking value . Acoustic tracks and vocals sing out with clarity . Stereo separation really amazing ! The bass is moderate but can be boosted on the App Eq which is versatile. Power seems to match the figures quoted . Excellent value for low and medium volume listening. Finally, Sonos - like streaming devices that are reasonably priced and support a significant list of streaming services and multi-room connectivity via an excellent smart phone app. Purchased WiiM Amp along with a WiiM Mini. WiiM not only supports subscription services like Spotify, Air Play 2 etc , it also has access to internet radio stations via TuneIn and vTuner, a personal favourite for background music I've got 70's vintage KLH speakers driven by the Amp and powered computer speakers connected to a Mini, all playing the same music stream. To my non-audiophile ears, the Amp sounds as powerful and high quality as my existing 80 watt per channel Yamaha receiver. I was amazed to find that music from CD player connected to the Amp also plays at the same time on the Mini connected speakers in a different room. Tengo ya meses de uso con el dispositivo, al momento pienso que es una solución todo en uno muy buena, el software es de lo mejor que he visto, y constantemente esta actualizándose. La calidad del sonido mediante su DAC creo es muy bueno incluso mayor al precio al que pague, no esperen una calidad de sonido de competidores de marcas mas caras, sin embargo para Tidal o plataformas similares sobrepasa la calidad de audio. Nada es perfecto, y me hubiera gustado mas potencia de amplificación, es algo a considerar, no esperes que vas a poder mover con autoridad bocinas de mas de 100w. Otra cosa es que en uso continuo si se calienta, por el momento no he tenido ningún problema, pero a largo plazo pudiera darse el caso, yo le compre unas zapatillas para que tenga una mejor refrigeración y por el momento me ha funcionado. 2 years ago the options for cheap stereo amps that had HDMI arc were so rare there might've only been 3-5 options. your other choices were either an AVR or an expensive integrated stereo amp near or over $1k (nad c389, marantz, and more). I first tried the arylic b50 and that amp was a pile of crap. Sounded muddy, didn't get loud, lagged often, and the companion app sucked. The wiim amp is sooooo much better than that arylic amp. I bought this for the living room TV but before I put it in its permanent home I hooked it up to Polk r700s and focal aria 936s and was very shocked that it sounded excellent with higher end speakers. The arylic amp was laughable when paired with the 936s but the wiim made those speakers sing. The companion app is great, too. It's easy to use, loaded with options, and looks good to boot. The room correction isnt the best in the world but it does work well and in this price range it's rare to see at all. This would be an excellent first amp or for a secondary set up. Even snobby audiophiles would be shocked to hear this thing if they didn't see it first. It uses the tpa3255 chip and it's implemented well and sounds pretty good. I don't know if it's the pffb version or not but I really am holding out hope that the wiim amp pro (and possibly a future power amp??) use a higher end amp chip. Even something like the Hypex ucd180hg would sound/measure much better and still keep the price fairly low in comparison to other higher end brands. Anything better than that and the price would start to increase exponentially. Who knows maybe even an a/b could work. Anyways, I am looking forward to Wiim's future products because they've hit a home run with every thing they've released so far. Read more
