As a kit of parts, it's good. There are short, medium, and long plastic connectors, the long ones are somewhat flexible. There are leaf shaped things to plug into holes, which I assume represent electron orbits. That said, it would be nice if there was some guide about what they are intended to represent, and some examples. The guide that is included lists the elements and their colors and bond angles, but that's about it. I'm a university student in Organic Chemistry and I was looking for a cheap molecule kit set to buy, and somehow stumbled upon this one. I was skeptical at first, but I still decided to buy it because the price could not be beaten. And overall, I'm really satisfied with this set! I have no idea how they were able to make the quality so great at such a cheap price. **What the kit came with:** As far as I can tell, the set came with everything as specified in the listing. The box itself came with a piece of paper listing the molecules included, their color codes, the amount of key holes in each molecule, and the quantity of each molecule. It also included the key types and specifications for each. Beyond this piece of paper and the box, there was no instruction kit or other information included. This is fine for me, but something to be aware of. The compartments were organized by molecule, and the different carbocations were separated by compartments as well, which wass a nice touch. The vertical compartments can also be removed if desired. **Usability:** I've never used a molecule kit prior to this one, yet I've had no issues building molecules using this set. The keys fit into the molecule holes perfectly, they have a firm grasp on the molecules yet are not so tight or loose so as to make the molecules likely to fall apart. You can can easily twist single-bonds without worrying about the molecule falling apart. Taking apart the molecules is not difficult either, the box does come with a key remover device but I've never felt the need to use it. I also like the fact that the different bond types (the inflexible single bond keys, the flexible double bond keys, and the long flexible triple bond keys) are color-coded as it makes it very easy to find the bonds you need. **Cons:** The box is extremely flimsy. It works fine when sitting on a table, however the box had a large chip in it within two days of use. If you're a university student or professor and wanting to take the box with you in a backpack, that is certainly a no-go, as the box will no doubt fall apart. If you're gentle with the box though, it works fine for storage. The set is also missing some important common molecules, such as fluorine. This isn't generally an issue as you can always substitute fluorine for a different included molecule, but this should be kept in mind. Overall, the set is AMAZING, especially for the price and molecule quantity! The only real complaint I have with it is the box, but everything else great about the set makes up for the box quality to me. Read more
