I usually never write reviews but for this I make an exception. This is such a good product design, I love its versatility. 9 different angles gives you plenty of options. The possibility to raise the tablet is nice too, although I haven’t used it other than to try. The option to turn it 90 degrees however is very useful for when you want to watch a video in landscape while you are lying down, or for FaceTime calls (iPad Air 2022 has the front cam in portrait mode). The magnets feel very secure, it won’t easily fall off and I’m quite confident no accident will happen. The quality of the materials feel very premium too. The only downside I can think of is that it adds some weight to the iPad, but whenever you don’t need the stand you can take the iPad with its case off and you have a thin and light iPad again. Though it is little heavy which I got used to it in few days, this is the most functional ipad case ever with multiple angles and stability with easy to use on lap and desk in both landscape and portrait modes. After trying others brands this is a no brainer in terms of usability. The magnets are also very strong and easy to switch from landscape to portrait. The shift series name justifies with shifting the landscape mode higher. If u are looking for light weight this is not the one. I just loved it over smart folio or origami style cases. I have used this iPad case for my 11 inch iPad Air now for a week, and I am glad I have bought this case as an accessory. I think it's known as ESR Shift, this case comes in 2 parts: the case that goes around the ipad itself, and the detachable cover that also works as a stand. To insert the ipad is quite straight forward, you simply line up the edge and corners and snap the iPad in place. To remove, I have found it easiet to pull on the bottom edge of the iPad/case and reveal a corner of the iPad, and the rest of the ipad will come out with a fair ease. The iPad will only fit in the cover if you want to use the whole combo in (what I call) book mode, due to the cut out in the cover to accomodate the camera. However, if you use in stand mode, where are multiple configurations (high landscape, low landscape, vertical). I use this this options while using the iPad to look up recipes and cooking in the kitchen, and it has been sturdy and I do not worry that it will tip over. The case feels sturdy in my hands, and does seem to offer a good amount of protection. It is sleek and does not feel overly bulky when installed (it makes the iPad feels like a small laptop in weight and size), makes it easy to transport.
