These ear pads are definitely an upgrade to your Sony headphones. The factory ear pads felt cheap? Lol so I wanted better quality material. Love the thick padding. It's good product, would recommend but the cooling is just a gimmick , yes it feels cool for 5 mins then it feels like as if you were sweating & have to take it off for 5 mins to let it cool/ dry If you were to buy it just for the padding then it's great , very comfortable & easy to install on the headphones, haven't tested it much for soundproofing but it's good enough for regular use Read more

I do a lot of outside work and get a sweat up. The stock pads are great indoors but make me sweaty and it's not nice. Thes are so far really good and keep my ears cool and if I do sweat then it is absorbed into the headpad. Now I amy not be able to wash them but I would give it a go on a super gentle hand wash when they get a bit stinky... They are a bit thicker than the stock so too a couple of hours to get used to them. Putting them on was ok but I didn't want to damage the stock sony ones as they are as new so wanted to make sure I had them as a back up. Be careful getting them off as I think if you are a bit ham fisted then you could tear them. 5 star so far, will update if that changes. Read more

Devo ammettere che il prodotto ha superato di molto le mie aspettative; infatti ero un po' scettico che potesse migliorare il comfort delle cuffie ma mi sono dovuto ricredere. D'altronde c'è da dire che Sony non prevede la vendita al cliente finale di cuscinetti originali (ho contattato l'assistenza ufficiale Sony prima di acquistare questi sostitutivi da Amazon). Ho sostituito i vecchi cuscinetti già notevolmente usurati in poco più di 5 minuti rimuovendo i vecchi grazie all'attrezzo in plastica che è fornito con i nuovi. Con i nuovi cuscinetti il comfort della cuffia aumenta in maniera significativa in quanto sono più avvolgenti e schermano dai rumori ambientali molto meglio di quelli originali. L'aspetto più positivo per me è senza dubbio quello del ridottissimo fastidio alle orecchie anche dopo diverse ore di utilizzo; i vecchi cuscinetti infatti causavano una fastidiosa sensazione di riscaldamento e sudorazione delle orecchie che con questi nuovi è invece totalmente assente. Le istruzioni fornite assieme ai cuscinetti sono molto chiare e consentono di completare la sostituzione in pochissimo tempo e in totale sicurezza per la cuffia. Oltre all'attrezzo per la rimozione dei vecchi cuscinetti nella confezione è presente anche un accessorio utile per inumidire leggermente i nuovi cuscinetti al fine di aumentare e prolungare nel tempo la sensazione di freschezza. Non resta che testare la durata nel tempo di questo prodotto; spero durino di più degli originali che si sono pesantemente logorati in poco più di 2 anni con un uso non quotidiano. Read more

These are insanely comfortable. If you have rather big ears like mine, alot of times even if the headphones are over the ear the room from the speaker and my ear kinda get crushed. These provide about twice the thickness as stock. I would buy these again in a heartbeat. Oh and no thee didn't effect the ANC in anyway. Read more
