I received this watch as a gift about 6 months ago. I'm giving it 5 stars, because I love the sleep tracking features, and the smart wake. I also exercise by walking. This morning I went out on a stroll and it tracked every step of my 2 mile hike. It was an urban hike. I reached my target heart rate by the time I looped around. I didn't know that it was 2 miles until today. From what I read, it doesn't work so well with an iPhone. I have a Pixel 6, which runs Android, and I haven't had any issues. The one thing I don't understand is that some people have been reviewing it at a lower overall rating than I was expecting. I think it may have something to do with wrist size. I have the band at the largest setting, and it sits a bit loosely on the back of my wrist. I have never had any problems getting the sensors to work at that level of tightness (well, looseness). It does come with two different sizes of bands, so you may want to try both, if you have a medium to small wrist size. I have never had any quality issues with the watch. I love the sleep tracker. It tracks down to the nearest minute, and with the Fitbit app, you can see how much waking time, REM, light sleep, and deep sleep. I need it the most to figure out when I was sleeping, and the quality of my sleep. I have no issues with it, at all. I almost gave it 4 stars, because it has a small and narrow screen, and in order to use some of the features, you have to scroll. up, down, left, right, and multiple screens. I don't need most of these features, but they are nice to have. I learned that I have a normal sinus heart rhythm, and I'm not overly stressed. Anyhow, I could write more, but you get the picture. I had an old Fitbit Charge HR years ago and used it for a couple years. I replaced it with an Apple Watch, but Apple never really gave me the health data I wanted. I got this a bit ago and LOVE it so far for all the reasons I disliked Apple. Pros: Charge lasts a loooong time, which means more data since you’re not taking it off daily to charge. Heart rate monitoring is continuous. Simple display allows you to focus on specific health data. Love the sleep data too! Also, it has a true sleep mode that doesn’t light up at all at night compared to Apple, which still has some brightness in my experience. Cons: connection to phone is a bit finicky, but never lags too long for me personally. Doesn’t connect to Spotify, a bit of a bummer, but not a priority for me. Also, have to pay for premium to access all the data, but with such an inexpensive device, this isn’t a dealbreaker for me either. Why did the Fitbit Charge 6 win me over? 1) It holds a charge for a lot longer compared to any watch. I need to charge it only every 7 days or so (depending on which features you keep active) Compared to an Apple Watch that needs charging pretty much every day. 2) And it charges back up quickly. Less 1.5 hours and you’re good to go for another 7 days. 3) Its size. It is not bulky. I find the watches to feel a bit chunky on me. This is small and comfortable enough that I quickly came to not noticing that I am wearing it. I can sleep with it comfortably (and that’s important for me as tracking my sleep is important to me) And it just looks more discrete on my arm. 4) It gives me a lot of health information and easily tracks my running and other fitness without going overboard. Personally I do not need the extent of detail you would find with something like the Garmin. 5) It is very user friendly. You don’t need to be a super techy to operate. It’s easy to sync with your phone right out of the box. Then I watched a couple great YouTube videos on the basics to learn even more about all the functions and features. The more I use this the more I like it. It has definitely helped me improved my health. I’ve learnt variables that affect my health that I didn’t know about. I’ve not yet signed up for the free six months of the premium membership because I wanted to see what I get without it. You get loads without it! I won’t go in to all the functions here but take a look at them and see if it gives you what you want. If so, then I would definitely recommend this Charge 6. I find all the functions work well. 1. You can't use functions in UAE 2. ECG takes data but the data is not available on the watch or phone. After taking ECG, you need phone app which then 'creates' a PDF for your 'Healthcare provider'... Now waiting one hour - nothing. Save the money, get a Honor/Xiaomi for cheap or something RELIABLE from Samsung or Apple. This band is a waste of money... Also, Google will discontinue Charge, so updates etc are doubtful, too.
