I find this works well with my brand new, water efficiency dishwasher. It's the kind of DW that you have to run with all the extra cycles just to ensure the contents don't reek of detergent. It's really annoying and unnecessary living in a wet climate with no water shortages. that said, I'm getting really great results with this particular genre of Finish. I'm also noticing less residue on the inside of the DW after wash cycles. My water is very hard without a water softener. I'm hoping that the ingredients of this product adds to the longevity of the dishwasher. I'll still use the DW cleaner products.
