This is a fantastic shaver for basic shaving and detailing needs, but there is a lot of exaggerated potential here. The attachments are barely functional, requiring multiple passes to achieve any level of result. Additionally they are EXTREMELY easy to dislodge while in use, with the potential for a shaving "accident" if one were to make the next pass before realizing a guard had fallen off. The blade attachments are EXTREMELY fragile. I fumbled my shaver in the first few days of owning it, dropping it to my bathroom counter only to discover that the fragile plastic connection that holds the blade had snapped. Though they are reported to last for months, replacement blades are prohibitively expensive ($45 to $50) which I predict will cause many people to abandon their device causing unnecessary e-waste. Will I keep mine? yes and here is why: - As the name "one blade" indicates, the product is marketed as a one trimmer for all your needs. While that's not impossible, it's not ideal. The One Blade 360 does have smaller blades than regular trimmers, meaning that it requires a lot more passes to trim the same amount of hair. Trimming takes time, and it takes longer with the One Blade. So for trimming my hair, I'll stick with my Braun 3in1. - So why buy the One Blade 360? Using one trimmer for all your body is actually not a great idea. Trimmers are blades and they will cut through any type of skin tact, eczema or any sort of skin issue you might have and cause it to spread. The Philips One Blade 360 comes with a good skin protector and in my experience it is safer than regular trimmers. I have almost no nicks or cuts when I use it. That's why the Philips One Blade 360 now took it's place in my personal hygiene rotation. It does take a bit longer but it's worth using it considering the safe and easy trim it provides.
