Used against my work MacBook Pro 16 in with M1 Max, the performance of the dock is no doubt, but what's worth mentioning more is the overall stability. Previously I used a Toshiba TB4 dock that was cheaper (~Australia $300) and quality was really sub-standard, that the dock had to be power cycled frequently to resume fully working, and often the dock can miss either display or USB functions and had to be either power cycled or unplugged/replugged in that becomes a daily annoyance. If you do have the budget, or can save a little longer, I'd suggest to get a good dock once and for all. Read more
