I have recently indulged in quite a few new cropped hoodies because this style really suits me and often is impossible to find. Years ago I remember trying to find anything cropped and coming up empty handed. So I am going overboard in building a collection and have had the opportunity to wear and inspect each one as they arrive. This one is now at the top of my list. Typically I wear a medium top but thumbholes are not long enough sometimes for what I have always assumed are my average length arms, so I purchased a large. I’m glad I did as the sleeves are barely long enough for my thumbs to rest in them and not get.their circulation cut off. This is what a hoodie is supposed to look and feel like. It’s heavier than many that I have received and it has real fleece lining that is so soft and warm. The outside of the fabric is just like what I remember buying many years ago. And there is zero smell. Yes, it’s oversized on me but not too much. There’s the standard kangaroo pocket for instant hand warming or storing your phone. The ribbing on the cuffs and hem is perfect. As is the construction! This garment looks professionally sewn. Meaning it’s top notch. The very best feature is the half zip, which is excellently sewn in, that comes together at the top to make a stand up collar that reaches my chin! This is the single most important feature in keeping the neck warm when it’s freezing outside and the wind chill is a very low number. Putting up the zipper and the hood will add a layer of warmth and protection from the cold that is hard to beat. I’m 5’4” and long waisted and this reaches my hip bones.
