Habe diesen Kühler gekauft, da meine cpu Temperatur bei meinem Acer gaming Laptop von 3 Kernen innerhalb kürzester Zeit bei 100°C angekommen war und er dann die Leistung runter gedrosselt hat. Nach Erneuerung der Wärmeleitpaste und Reinigung der Lüfter, sowie Erneuerung der Wärmeleitpads, konnte ich die cpu Temperatur mithilfe dieses Kühlers (bei 2800 Umdrehungen) auf 61-72°C reduzieren. Zimmertemperatur war bei 24,5°C circa! Das is absoluter Wahnsinn!!! Ich denke mal, das 5-10°C der Erneuerung der Wärmeleitpaste und Wärmepads samt Reinigung zugute kommt und etwa 20-25°C durch Einsatz dieses Kühlers! Hab damit ca. 3 Stunden cs gezockt und die Temperatur blieb stabil. Als ich meinen Laptop vor 3 Jahren neu gekauft hatte, konnte ich etwa 1,5Std. zocken, dann war die cpu Temperatur bei 3 Kernen bei 100°C!! Zum Schluss hat das nur noch etwa 20minuten gedauert! Darum musste ich reagieren und diesen Kühler gekauft, welcher saubere Arbeit leistet. Die Geräuschentwicklung geht selbst bei 2800 umdrehungen absolut klar, da die beiden Lüfter im Laptop im "turbo" modus fast die selbe Lautstärke haben. Ausserdem habe ich nen headset auf und da stört mich das das überhaupt net. Bei 1800 Umdrehungen höre ich ihn net mehr. Ich habe auch mal mit dem kleinen tool "coretemp" mehrere Messungen mit verschiedenen Lüftergeschwindigkeiten durchgeführt, um zu sehen, wie sich die Temperatur verhält und selbst bei 1800 Umdrehungen is das noch voll ausreichend, um die Temperatur im normalen bzw noch "kühlen" Bereich zu halten. Why did I get it? Working 12-14 hours with a gaming laptop (zephyrus duo 16, 6900hx + 3070ti) with that high pitched fan noise makes you go insane eventually. I despised the noise so much I was considering spending an extra 5k rebuilding my desktop tower system and throw my laptop into trash. Does it help reducing gaming laptop temperatures? Yes and no. Yes it does help cool the laptop better by creating a vortex of cool air blowing underneath the chassis, but unless you're in quiet/silent mode the temps don't drop at all. However, it prevents the chips from throttling and instead it unlocks the true TGP. Prior to getting this fan I was barely getting 150w of sustained TGP from cpu+GPU combo. Now I'm getting nearly 250w. Makes you wonder how scummy all those marketing material of laptop makers + Nvidia are that you need an additional fan just to get the advertised performance out of your machine. Raw GPU TGP before: barely reaching 100w as thermal throttling reached After: 130w easy with maximum boost reaching 148w Raw CPU TGP before: I never allowed it to go past 30w due to extreme fan noise of the laptop itself. After: I guess it can use 90w as advertised (Radeon iGPU disabled at system level so it's not even active, all that juice goes directly to CPU) Is it loud? So you can adjust the fan speed by 100rpm increments. Working in Browser + medium creativity tasks I set it to 300/400rpm and I don't even have to wear headphones anymore as the hum of this fan drowns the noise of laptop fan. For gaming, you definitely need a noise canceling headphone as the typhoon noise created by this fan exceeds any noise created by speakers. Was considering getting the Razer fan, but I'm glad I didn't. I'd throw money at razer's competition all day every day. Razer tax + their customer service don't deserve your hard earned money. For starters, this took roughly 2 weeks to arrive after I ordered it. It was either that or the GT600. The GT600 would have an extended time to arrive due to it being shipped from out of the country (Canada). So I went ahead and ordered this. My laptop is a heavily modified MSi Katana B12VG (Windows 11 Pro, an additional 1TB SSD which is the WD Black SN770 that only has games on it, and 64GB of RAM instead of the stock 16. The reason for 64GB, is because this laptop replaced an 2019 ROG Strix, and it's because of Diablo IV, which I'm able to run with maxed out settings along with raytracing. Laptop has an i7-12650H and a 4070, which does not use GeForce Experience. All the changes to programs and games are made through nVidia Control Panel). I'm also not using the laptop's keyboard and trackpad, instead I use a SteelSeries Apex 7, an Aerox 5 (a standard and the Diablo IV edition, with the Standard Edition used just in case) and an Aerox 9). I also have power profiles since the 12th Gen H series processors cant be undervolted, and those are Extreme (the same as Gaming Mode, with every setting maxed out), Balanced, 99% (disables Turbo Mode), 75%, 50%, 25% and 10% (each cuts the processor speed, with it set to spin the fans up before throttling the processor). With the fans set at 300 (don't know if that's RPM or not), running a Performance Analysis with the power profile set at 25%, for 8 hours playing old Opie and Anthony episodes, and the screen off, the fans never spun up once (normally I'd have the CPU fan on around 2500RPM at about 55-60 degrees Celsius). Normally you'd be looking at the processor fan spinning up and remaining on. But nope. Never came on once. Temps stayed between 35-40 degrees Celsius on the processor and 34-40 degrees on the GPU). Now for Diablo IV, which this is benchmarked against. Slightly increasing the fan speed to 600, the game's temperature dropped 20-30 degrees Celsius (runs about 75-90 degrees on the CPU and 60-80 on the GPU), even after fighting the Herald of Malphas about 27 times (had someone keep activating it), and this is with every conceivable item on the ground. Temps stayed around the 60-70 degree Celsius mark. If I increased the fan speed, it does become more noisy, but I'm using noise cancelling headphones (Sony WH-1000XM4's repurposed for my laptop), so I don't hear the fan for this while playing games. I could probably increase the fan to 700-1000, but once it hits 1000, it starts to sound like a jet engine on an airplane about to take off, and starts to get loud. Speaking of that, I put the thing at 2800, and past 1000, you can feel the air coming out from the laptops vents in the back. You can also slightly feel the air coming from it on the side (if your laptop has a side vent or vents) That's how powerful this thing is. Because of this, I would recommend that the 300 setting be used for general work, and nothing about 1000 for games, unless you live alone. You can comfortably run Diablo IV on a setting (for my rig) at 600-1000 without you standing next to an airplane on a tarmac and that won't bother anyone. The one reason I listed noise level at 5/5, is because at the 300 mark (default), it does not bother you or anyone else. It's only after 1000 that you may get people bothering you that it's too loud. On mine however, there is a bit of a whine that you can hear on the lower settings, but as you ramp the fan to a higher setting, this is less audible, and I've tuned it out. You definitely cannot hear this if you are wearing headphones. Due to that, I will not dock points off. If you decide to get this, you will need to use noise cancelling headphones when you game (it's fine if set at 300, anything higher than 600, you'll need them). All in all, for a mid range laptop like mine, well worth the money I paid for it. Read more

I've found operating it at about 1700rpms (it goes to 2600) greatly reduces temps and makes the laptops fans be able to take it easy. I’m running a kinda old Lenovo P15 Gen 1 with an Intel i9-10885H, 128GB of RAM, 2 NVMe SSDs, and a Quadro RTX 3000 GPU, all of which generate a significant amount of heat under heavy workloads. Since using the llano v12 laptop pad cooler, I’ve seen my GPU temperatures drop consistently by around 10-15°C, which is a notable improvement and makes extended sessions far more comfortable. The airflow can be clearly felt, and the fan goes all the way to 2800 RPM, which is LOUD. The USB ports are a nice addition too; providing extra ones that I don't even need, but are good to have, since I have a Thunderbolt hub. The build quality of the cooler is excellent, and while I did experience a small rattling noise in the first unit I received, it never once impacted the cooler’s functionality. This device is very effective in cooling my zephyrus g16 2024 while gaming. When I ramp up the speed , it is actually load but I prefer to use headphone rather than reducing the lifespan of an expensive laptop😂 On 800 rpm, it reduce the gpu temperature around 10 degrees C , and gpu around 8 degrees. You should be really careful on how you put your laptop on this fan. Zephyrus g16 has an exhaust on the back , below the laptop. You should push the laptop a little to back to not block the exhaust. You can also cut a small part of foam from the exhaust sits to make a clearance for air. Another small problem is that the speakers are under the laptop and when using any coolpad with similar design, you block the speakers. tested with my HP Victus 16t R-000 13th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-13700H RTX 4070, the dust filter is what i like most, i wont be needing to open my laptop ever 3-6 months to clean the fans, as we all know gaming laptop has a strong cooler fan which collect dust pretty quick. don't rely on the product it self to reduce your temp, make sure your laptops fan is clean , thermal paste replace, and bios is up to date. would be nice too if some parts of the cooler are not made with all plastic, some aluminum which can cool more the air it blows and also extra foam pads for laptops. 1,200 rpm is perfect speed for me. keeps my temp 60-65 under heavy usage. So, I'm lucky I work a 3rd shift job that allows me to use my Legion 5 gaming laptop for hours a night. As you can see, it is small enough to put into a book bag and take it with me. There are really only two choices if you want proper cooling of a gaming laptop, and thats either the llano or the iets gt500/600. I actually purchased the 500 and 600 but both were too large to bring with me on a regular basis. With the llano it is the perfect size for my 16in gaming laptop, and the cooler is small enough to travel to work as well. I have been using it for a few months now, and I love it. The fan can get a little loud, but I keep the fan around 1100 rpm, and it's quieter then my laptop fans on full blast. The llano keeps also keeps my temps while gaming under 70c on average, on both the cpu and gpu. Without it, the laptop averages around 80c. Which, for a gaming laptop, is still good temperatures. If I crank the fan to max rpms it keeps it around 65/60c while running prime95 which is amazing. While gaming temps never saw above 55c when it is running at max rpms. But, sadly, the fan is too loud at this speed unless I have headphones on. But because of my job, I simply cannot do that. So 1100 is a good sound to performance ratio. The lights are nice, I suppose, plenty of choices, and the build quality is solid. Yes, it's expensive, but if you are like me, and want to make sure your laptop lasts, I consider either the llano or iets coolers a must buy. Or, if your laptop is getting into the 90/100c while gaming because either your fans are dieing or thermal paste is drying up, this will extend the life span even further. I don't know what else needs to be said. Tldr; if you need PROPER cooling for your laptop, and your laptop has bottom ventilation (which is required) this will do it justice. Read more

This llano cooler is great, by far the best one I've used. I mostly use it on the lowest setting (300), ramping up the fans when I want to bring my System/CPU/GPU temps down, which I monitor with HWINFO and overlays. I can really see the temperatures drop down and stay steady, which allows my laptop to perform at higher clock speeds for longer. My laptop fans themselves can spin up to >5k rpm but with the cooler on and loads running on the computer, I don't see them going above 2,500RPM. Another benefit I am finding or rather feeling, is that between the keyboard and touchpad area on my laptop are no longer burning hot to the touch. The fan noise with my laptop on top does not bother me on the lower settings, it acts as white noise to me. The clamping system at the front to hook the laptop down is great too, I like that. With higher fan speeds, of course there is more noise, but really I don't need to use this cooler past a third of its potential output to get temperature drops and performance gains with which I am happy about. Its nice that it has so much headway for more cooling performance. The first product I received I noticed a ticking sound at low RPMs, which I didn't find mentioned in online reviews / video reviews. The performance was still fantastic but the noise was annoying. I spoke with support and they sent me a new one out, which I received today, and the noise is no longer, except the white noise of lower fan speeds(to me). So, for anyone looking for a fan for the gaming laptop, I purchased the IETS 600 and the Llano v12 together and made an in-depth comparison. I found that the Llano performed better for my laptop, the Alienware m16 R1. It cooled the laptop faster and kept it 1-2 degrees cooler while in a game when compared to the IETS 600. I feel the compact design has a part to play in it as it pushes more air from the center. Talking about the build quality, I feel the Llano feels more premium cause of its weight and overall feel. However, if you are looking for more features and color options the IETS 600 has more options to customize and play around with. I really like the fan-adjusting buttons on the IETS 600 as well. I feel the scroll on the Llano is too gimmicky. In the end, tho, I am gonna return the IETS 600 cause I prioritize the actual use of the product over the features. Both are pretty similar but the IETS will be returned, these fans are crazy expensive XD. Llano for the win!! Also you the noise levels do get loud, should not be a problem if you use headphones. Bought this for my fiance who's laptop was over heating even after we thoroughly cleaned fans: it works REALLY well and significantly cools my fiance's laptop. The airflow is adjustable and very powerful (you can feel the air blowing up through the gaps in the laptop's case), can be a bit loud at times, but that is a very minor thing that comes with having that powerful of fans. The black body and rbg lights look really nice, and my fiance finds it to be very comfortable to use through multi hour gaming sessions with friends and family. My GPU was always at 90 degrees while rendering. Now it's at 66 degrees. But it comes with a price, noise. But you will find the point at regulating the fan intensity, you will not use it at full power all the time, I mean, what if my GPU is at 72 degrees instead of 66 degrees?
