Was expecting this to be a bit rubbish just because there’s been so much hype. It’s actually great as a shaver which is what I want it for. Set between 0 and 1.5 lengths works great on the face, really quick and comfortable and I often use it for a quick trim while in the shower. On the longer settings for body or beard it tends to be less good and misses a lot of hairs. If you want a body hair trimmer better to get a proper clipper, same for head (unless you usually go bald or near to bald). As said, perfect for what I wanted so would highly recommend as a shaver for smooth to short stubble finish. Read more

Having tried about 4 different electric shavers from various brands including Philips this is by far the best one I've used both wet & dry shaving! Gets the closest shave of any of the shavers I've used as well as having an amazing battery life and a handly little display to show you how much battery is left. The charging process is as simple as it gets for an electric with it charging on a base similar to how most electric toothbrushes charge. The battery life is great and the razor works tremendously for a clean shave. I much prefer it to my traditional electric razor (the standard 3 metal circles variation, a Remington). It gives a far better shave with less effort than traditional model electric shavers. I have also used it in the shower with no effect on its performance. If you're buying it to keep a full grown beard in shape however Id give it a miss; the trimmer head attachment whilst being a solid build is somewhat fiddly to use and does require that you would have to run over the area several times in order to get everything the same length. If however you only have a short beard (2 weeks worth say) the trimmer works well enough to do the job. And because of the design of the razor itself its very easy to precisely groom an area around facial hair, for example if you wanted to tidy up the edges of your beard or if you had a goatee etc. Read more
