I had high hopes for the Medcursor Air Compression Leg Massager based on the product description and positive reviews, but unfortunately, it did not live up to my expectations. From the first use, it was clear that the device was not functioning properly. The compression was weak, inconsistent, and nowhere near as effective as advertised. The description made it sound like a professional-grade massage experience, but in reality, it felt more like the air was barely inflating at all. I tried adjusting the settings multiple times and repositioning the cuffs, but nothing improved the performance. It simply didn’t provide the therapeutic relief I was looking for. The build quality also felt subpar — the materials seemed flimsy, and the control unit was not very intuitive to use. For the price, I expected something much better, especially considering this is a device meant for health and wellness. Overall, it was a disappointing purchase. It did not match the product description and, sadly, did not meet my needs at all. I ended up returning it and would not recommend it to others looking for a reliable leg massager. First and foremost - this is not a massage device, it is a compression-type boot, and very effective at that. Had multiple people try this to get reactions before reviewing. The person who enjoyed it the most is the one who tends to "not like massage" and had just returned from a long hike - they thoroughly enjoyed it and felt the benefits immediately. This who knew what medical compression boots are like knew what to expect and liked the added benefit of the heat. PROS: * Heat! The heat, paired with compression is particularly soothing * Compression - highly customizable, from strength of compression (3 settings), to location of the compression (3 settings). * Sizing for calves - offers a good amount of adjustability in calf size * Auto shut off - could be a cold but if you were to fall asleep with the boots on this is a nice safety feature to have included. *Washability - let's be real, if its gonna touch feet or make you potentially sweat this is a must! CONS: * Misspelling on top of box (the work minutes is misspelled) which could make it look like a cheaper product if gifting * Mentions "massage" multiple times on box/paperwork - this really is not a massage device, it is meant for compression and circulatory benefit * Foot area could be bigger/more velcro for more adjustability * Length of cord from controller could be longer to allow for easier adjustment when laying or reclining Should go without saying but follow instructions for setup and be wary of any medical warnings if you happen to have cardiac disease, etc. Read more

I review everything purchased on Amazon, and also review all the different models, prices, sizes, etc., of anything that I decide on. My husband (240 pounds, elderly) has had 2 surgeries since Thanksgiving (it is now the beginning of February 2025) who had the air-compression wraps on his calves while laying in hospital beds, but those are "really" expensive. There are a number of these types of air-compression wraps on Amazon (he doesn't need heat nor massage), so after reviewing everything, chose these. Came in about 5 days (don't expect Prime 2-day delivery) and out of the box worked well. He has some swelling in his feet and legs and these wraps work perfectly, even though the ones in the hospitals didn't have the "feet" attached. A little cumbersome at first out of the box, but when I "tested" them, I tightened the wraps (lots of overlap for size 8 feet and no swelling - against his size 12 feet with swelling) and used several different settings (high/med/low and 20 or 30 minute intervals). Electrical cord is about 6' to controller which is plenty for me sitting on couch or him in his recliner. No complaints with them on now while sitting on couch reviewing several recent Amazon purchases. The controller has a slight "buzz" but not obnoxious. Good price, and pressure is good, although if tightened too much, might be uncomfortable, but the air pressure is of short duration, so not hurtful. Recommend. Read more

I’m a personal trainer, and one thing I’m always struggling with is getting clients to recover appropriately. I got this as a test for a few clients to try out as well as use myself. The device is easy to setup and use, very intuitive controls and just a few wires to plug in. The boots adjust with hook/loop easily, and I’ve found that adjusting the tightness of fit of the boot also allows for some variation of intensity of the compression (i crank the hook and loop / fit as tight as possible for myself, less tight for clients with lower myofascial release work experience). There are a few modes, either cycling sections of the boot or the complete leg, with two heat settings and three intensity of compression settings. The boots work very well and provide a good amount of heat and compression. For me, the only knock I have is that the boots are not as much as compression as I’d love, but they are also not designed to be a direct competitor to something like a normatec boot. My clients that don’t prefer as much intensity have found it to be more than adequate both as a recovery tool and as a warmup aid if feeling sore prior to training. Read more

These take away that and the noise level is low so it doesn't get their attention. Relaxing and comfortable with heat, vibration, compression massage.
