Al inicio estaba un poco escéptico acerca de hacer mi compra o no, ya que es de las cámaras más accesibles en el precio y había visto varias reseñas de otras opciones con más adaptaciones. Finalmente me decidí por esta opción y, hasta el momento, no tengo ninguna queja. Por el contrario, debo decir que es una gran cámara con excelente nitidez en la imagen, además de tener muy buena sensibilidad en el micrófono para captar los sonidos más profundos. La cámara trasera también cuenta con buena calidad y nitidez. La aplicación fue muy fácil de instalar y funciona completamente. Todo está predeterminado en inglés, por lo que es mucho más sencillo de entender. Puedes descargar los videos directamente en el celular, pero el detalle es que siempre debe ser antes de apagar la cámara, ya que no tendrás acceso a los archivos sin conexión al WiFi de la cámara. Yo descargué también la aplicación para mi MacBook y así poder administrar mejor los videos. El GPS integrado de la cámara muestra todo en tiempo real y no se alenta o traba durante el trayecto, además de ser muy preciso en las locaciones. La instalación de las cámaras dentro de mi auto fue muy sencilla, sin necesidad de ver el video tutorial que te sugieren en el manual. Es muy fácil de esconder los cables, ya que también trae su herramienta especial para hacerlo. Las pegatinas se adhieren al instante, por eso es importante que tengas precisión en el lugar exacto que vas a colocarlas, ya que no se despegarán. También trae repuesto por si acaso. Es importante saber que, respecto a la temperatura de trabajo de las cámaras debe ser siempre entre -10°C a 70°C en sensación térmica. Yo personalmente no las dejaría bajo el sol todo el tiempo. También puedes descargar los videos con o sin audio. Asimismo adaptar el enfoque con el zoom que más te convenga. Puedes tomar fotos mientras graba desde la app en tu móvil. Su sensibilidad ante los impactos es muy buena. Yo, en lo personal, preferí dejarle la menor sensibilidad a los impactos; ya que si le dejas la más alta, se guardará cualquier video con la mínima vibración, cualquier bache, o si mueves de lugar la cámara mientras está grabando. Todo puedes ajustarlo en su menú de opciones. Algo que me gustó bastante es que la cámara delantera se puede desmontar en todo momento. La trasera se quedará fija siempre, pero puedes mover el ángulo de enfoque girándola a tu gusto. Estoy muy satisfecho por la compra. Update to my review; I've noticed there's a few reviews stating that camera keeps turning itself off and on. I had this issue with one of the 2 dashcams in installed in my cars after about 5 months. I believed my issue was a defective camera was ready to contact Redtiger for warranty claim. Thought I'd check on some forums first and realized a couple of people had similar problems. Turns out it a defective MicroSD issue rather than Dashcam. Formatting doesn't work as it's corrupted. Had another 256gb card laying around installed and formatted an no more reboot. So if your having similar issues change MicroSD card. 6 months on still think it's best quality and value for money dashcam for those of us who prefer not having a screen and more stealthy unit. I was worried that app would be absolutely garbage like most anything around or below $300 price range. Most dashcam that have goods apps cost around $500.00. But it is truly a dedicated app not a generic slightly modified. Easy to understand, navigate and adjust camera settings. Image quality is great also. I wanted a front and rear view camera without screen. Either they make the camera to big or screen is so small it's pointless. I can view and download images from my phone in a minute. This camera has features and quality of other brands twice the price. I end up ordering a second one for my wifes car. I'll be ordering a 3rd soon for our other car too. The camera is great and quality is as advertised. Very easy to use if only using for driving, for hardwiring it’s easy if you know how to use fuse taps and a multimeter to find the right fuse spots (all of which anyone can learn on YouTube). Took me about an hour to get everything done, including hiding the wires which probably takes the most time. Very good for the price in my opinion. Update: Works great while driving and quality is good. However, having trouble getting parking mode to work, for now it goes into parking mode but does not record anything, will update once resolved. Update: parking mode recordings resolved, they are automatically sent to the “locked” video file so that they don’t get overridden which is neat in my opinion. I researched dash cams for years. I became paralyzed by the vast array of options and prices. I decided to go with RedTiger due to their quality advertising and other reviews, and they happened to be on sale. The traffic in the Phoenix area grows increasingly aggressive and I felt an urgency to protect me and my wife in the event of an accident. I purchased two of these, and I could not be more pleased. I am 68 and was able to able to easily install both in one day completely by myself. One in a Prius and the other in a Dodge Journey. Each came with both the front and rear facing cameras. I initially worried that hiding the cable over the length of the vehicle would be problematic, especially with both cars having hatchbacks, but it was super easy with the tools provided. I am very pleased with the clean installation, wires and cameras barely visible. The quality is outstanding! From the very beginning, you are presented with high quality packaging, superbly protected products, and well thought out designs. RedTiger includes tools, guidance, and documentation necessary to be 100% successful. Functionally speaking, once installed, I started the car, drove off, and afterward, checked the video. Quality was amazing and the app blew me away in the playback mode. It shows the position of the car on a graphical map with direction, speed, etc. as well as the hi def video. It is a small investment in money and effort for a tremendous amount of peace-of-mind. As long as the car is on, it is recording front and back. It automatically replaces the oldest recordings with the newest, so you only have to retrieve them when the need arises. It comes with a 32GB card. I'm not sure how many days of videos that will hold, but I'm certain it will easily meet my needs as I only expect to retrieve them in the event of an accident.
