La Ricoh GR iii è una macchina fotografica di tutto rispetto, con una qualità d'immagine che rispecchia le dimensioni del sensore da 24 mp, un formato apsc di solito presente in apparecchi di ben altre dimensioni. A differenza di altri apparecchi di formato apsc, sia pure con ottiche intercambiabili e quindi più versatili, è veramente tascabile e si può portarla sempre con sè. È vero che oggi abbiamo tutti lo smartphone, che a volte sforna immagini di tutto rispetto, ma una macchina come questa è tutt'altra cosa. La dimensione del sensore non è neanche minimamente paragonabile a quella di uno smartphone, come pure l'ottica che è un vero obbiettivo fotografico con focale eqivalente a 28 mm f/2.8 sul full frame 24×36 mm. L'accoppiata sensore apsc e obbiettivo a focale fissa di eccellente qualità ottica ne fanno un vero strumento di lavoro. Non dico che sia sostitutiva dell'apparecchio principale, ma nel corredo di un fotoamatore evoluto o di un professionista è davvero una chicca. La qualità dell'immagine si apprezza veramente negli ingrandimenti e nelle stampe di grande formato, provate se volete a fare un confronto con quanto può offrirvi uno smartphone, sia pure blasonato e molto costoso. Certo il costo non è esattamente contenuto, ma per chi fa della fotografia qualcosa di più che un mordi e fuggi ne vale la pena. Read more

Hacía tiempo que le daba vueltas a la idea de adquirir esta cámara pero no me terminaba de decidir ya que con mi Olympus Pen F y, sobre todo, mi X100s cubría de sobras la portabilidad sin renunciar a la calidad de la imagen. Pero es que esta Ricoh GR III está a otro nivel: es tan pequeña que me cabe en el bolsillo y el encendido y disparo es tan rápido que difícilmente perderás una oportunidad de disparo. Pero es que no solo es eso, he quedado tremendamente sorprendido por la calidad de las imágenes. Incluso los jpegs directos, con los estilos de foto, son increíbles, especialmente (y esto es una opinión personal) el blanco y negro de alto contraste y, mi favorito, la película positiva. Adjunto muestras de jpgs directos de la cámara sin retocar. Por último está el tema de la usabilidad. Los menús son sencillos pero muy intuitivos y junto a las opciones de personalización de botones te puedes acomodar la cámara a tu gusto. Una gozada. Read more

I mainly do street photography with little detours into landscape, urbex and still life. The thing I love about this is that It fits an APS-C sized sensor into a pocketable camera, which, combined with an excellent lens and image stabilisation, brings so many benefits: - brilliant image quality - the ability to push the limits of RAW processing - great low light performance There are also lots of other pros: - it looks plain and ordinary, and it’s small, so you get the benefits of a big camera whilst remaining stealthy - ISO, Exposure and shutter speed can all be adjusted quickly with one hand, and it starts up super fast, it’s hard to miss a shot, so I can shoot in manual mode nearly all the time - its very light, I carry the open case in my trouser pocket and can slide the camera in and out easily. - up to now (three years!) it’s been pretty robust, I have dropped a few times and it carries on regardless. - the Autofocus and Snap Focus work well for me This is not for those who want bells and whistles- no zoom, no articulating screen, no viewfinder, no built in flash, but it is expensive. I don’t use it, but I believe the video is not great However, it’s become like an extension to my right hand so it’s been worth every penny to me. Love it and woul not be without it! Read more

I avoided the switch from film to digital for years, and I have used viewfinder cameras, and mirrorless SLR’s in the digital format, and it seems that I need a lot of gear to use those systems. The GR-III is a simple, but very effective pocket-sized alternative to all that gear. Just browse for photos shot with the GR-III and you’ll see what this small camera is capable of. Most of my photography is done in low light, hand-held, on city streets, and I am very happy with the results. There are many great features built-in which make this camera far superior to any smart phone. Snap focus, user programs, full manual shooting, macro mode, are some of the features I like. I don’t often shoot video, so I can’t add much to that discussion. It is expensive, and maybe suited to photographers more than casual users, but I never go anywhere without it. It’s constructed very well, which I think offsets the initial cost. The battery gets lots of knocks, but if you are just grabbing a shot here and throughout the day, it never becomes a problem, but I do carry a spare. Extended time using the menu, or playback mode definitely uses battery quickly. Read more

Es una gran cámara de muchas capacidades, alta calidad fotográfica y de sensor grande para su tamaño. Estaba muy contento con la compra e ilusionado con su llegada. Lamentablemente llegó sin batería, así no la puedo utilizar ni probar por defectos. La tuve que devolver con el retrabajo que ello implica. En cuanto tenga oportunidad, buscaré otra cámara similar. Incluso ya le he comprado accesorios que tendré que ir devolviendo conforme me vayan llegando. Actualización: por fin amazon me reembolso mi dinero.
