It's an expensive bottle. I'm not sure what extra you are getting for circa double the price. The exterior has an odd rough texture. I can't quite place what it reminds me of but someone said it felt like concrete and someone else said it felt like a cinder-block. Presumably the texture will help you keep a grip on it. It's quite large at 750ml. I have a 500ml flask of the same design style which makes me think that is the more traditional size for this type of bottle. I haven't tested its heat retention abilities. All I can say is that fairly cold water is still fairly cold two and a half hours later after being carried about in the sun. There is no handle loop around the top of the neck. This means you will either have to hold it properly in your hands or have some sort of a bag to keep it in. I've given it four stars instead of five as it doesn't have a handle loop and I think it is pricey for what it is. I like the texture of this bottle, it’s quite rough so won’t slip through your fingers. I filled it with hot water before I went to bed and it was still hot in the morning. It’s a good size holding enough for 2 cups of coffee. Read more
