I bought this chair because of what I thought would be a better seat cushion because of the way it was built. Well just after the one month return date there was a metal rod that poked through the material on the front and scratched the 'ell out of my leg. It is coming apart and nothing I can do about it. Too late to buy protection plan and too late to return. Luckily I am able to push the rod back inside of the cushion but I have to do it continuously. DISAPPOINTED. I have attached photos of the chair. I contacted Amazon. Neither Amazon nor myselft were able to get in touch with Dowinx US when I tryed to contact Downix. I am upgrading my review and changing to 5 stars. After Dowinx and I were able to get in contact with each other the transaction was excellent. The chair was a manufacture defect and under warranty. The manufacture had corrected the defect for future production. I was offered a upgraded chair or refund of which I took the latter. The customer service and expediency of the transaction was above reproach. Probably one the best I have ever experienced. Wow! I am truly impressed with this chair! I just received it yesterday and it only took about 20 minutes to put together. I used Loctite on the bolts since I noticed some complain of bolts loosening over time, so that problem should be resolved. The leather look is so nice, and it feels great! It's like a gaming chair in disguise! I use it for my business home office, so it fits nicely and looks professional. I like how well-made it is and believe I will get at least a few years out of this chair (even with using it 40-60 hours a week for my business as a computer programmer, so I do a lot of sitting in front of computers!). I am very happy with this purchase. Should anything change, I will certainly update this post, but this chair appears to be well made, it's comfortable, and I put it together properly, so I think it'll be fine. Oh, and my box arrived damaged (with a large hole on one edge that was crushed), but the contents inside were packaged well enough that they remained undamaged, so that was nice, too. Read more

Give it up for the Chinese! I more often than not, now a days get good products from them. This one so far is very, very good quality. Stiching is spot on! Color and Description are true to what it indicates. The wheels are smooth. Instructions were easy enough. But most of all I was most impressed with the hex screws. The recess on them was nice and deep. The materials for them where top notch and I didn't strip a single one out. I always end up striping out ⅓ of them. Also the plugs to cover up the screw holes in the arm are rubber and not hard plastic and fit nicely in the holes and conform to the shape. The chair is comfortable over all, but will take a little getting used to. The message pillow would be nicer if it had a place where I could put 4 to 8 or so AA rechargable batteries in, instead of a usb cable conneted that I'll roller over or snag on something. It is break away though so damage ahould be minimized. Maybe even the option for a rechargable C-Type Lithium Battery with quick charging capability. But I personally don't care about the message pillow. The one thing I don't really like about the chair is the straps for the pillows. There is no way to tighten them up the way they came. Staps are bungy and not looped through the buckles in a way that you can tighten them. Leather straps would have have way better!!! But over all, at this time I'm happy with the purchase. I always wish companies would ask me before they go into full production on what could or should be done to improve products. I guess I'll never get to have that job.
