these are awesome starter shoes!! they are a bit stiff but after some use they were fine. I was able to stand on pointe without too much pain. I would recommend these for people starting pointe. these are nice quality and very affordable. they feel just like the more professional expensive ones. they are just so beautiful and i love that they come with ribbons and toe pads! Love these shoes! Beautifully made, perfect starter shoes. They are used in our dance school for an entire level of students - the suede sole, light weight box and lower price point makes them perfect for students transitioning between ballet flats, and more expensive demi-pointe pre-pointe shoes. Would appreciate if they sold them without the ribbons attached though, as we always remove the cheap poorly attached ribbons anyway. We will continue to buy these 10 or 12 pairs at a time for years to come. Read more
