Not sure about the growth. I only just purchased this item. The smell is wonderful, but if you don't like rosemary. Not the product for you. I purchased this item because I have super dry skin and that means super dry hair and scalp. However, a lot of the old favorite black hair products I used in the past work for a day. After a day my scalp would not be dry, but it would itch like crazy. To the point I had to wash my hair all over again. The dermatologist told me one of the ingredients in the products was irritating my scalp. So, I have been searching for natural products. Not to natural though. This one came highly recommended. Ok, when my scalp starts to itch a few drops of this oil is so relieving healing even. A lot goes a long way. So far, no irritations, I have natural hair so I flat iron it to straighten. It does not revert my hair back to kinky. I have noticed my scalp feels a lot healthier and so does my hair. I cannot speak for growth. I have not been using the product long enough.
