It would be nice if it was colder considering the price of the item and all the heat waves. Honestly they should make it drop down to 32 degrees. And here is what they dont tell you- it only can be recharged so many times and not because it breaks but because the program the battery to only take so many charges. So Guess what? When you think about how almost everything in our lives is setup with a rechargeable battery that means they are the entire technological world has setup when each and every item will break down. Thats why they are pushing for electric cars so hard. Get Ready Now Break!! Yet they have know since 1990 that all the money we all have to pay with no choice into Social Security wont be there for us in our old age. Breaking quit a contract, We should have a choice if we want since it wont be there for the purpose it was meant for. That is stealing and they know it going into it. The product was delivered in such a low state of charge that the display wouldn't even come on. Plugged it in to charge overnight. It didn't charge at all. Tried three different charging bricks and nothing. Finally tried a different cable and that did the trick. Anker cable and a 5V 3.1A charger finally got some juice in it. Now that it is charged, any combo of cable and charger seems to work. Maybe that's due to the firmware update. I am concerned about the battery health given how dead it was when I got it, but it definitely works for now. The cooling plates are very pleasant even on the lowest setting. I have MS & CNS Lupus and fully disabled. Heat is a bad thing for me, it makes my symptoms much worse. I live in Hawaii. Temps can be in the 90s, but the humidity is horrible. My husband bought this neck conditioner for me to attend the outdoor wedding of our daughter. It's a FAN, it's COOL & QUIET and the SLEEK DESIGN made it COMPLEMENTARY to my outfit. Many people asked me what it was; then wished they had one.😊 When I had a question, and contacted their Customer Service, it was an EXCELLENT experience. Their attention to detail and answers to my questions were FAST & COURTEOUS. I appreciated their help and service. I use this neck air conditioner even at home, in an air conditioned room because I cannot regulate my body temp, have fevers daily & am complicated. Well, I do want to like this product, but for the price it is rather underwhelming. The Cold plate certainly works but I was surprised that my neck acclimates to the cold plate quickly and after a few minutes it doesn't "feel" cool until I remove the Coolify 2S and touch my neck. Even then, it just doesn't feel like it was noticeably cooling my neck and extending that feeling elsewhere. The fan itself is just ok. Inside the house, with climate control going, I can feel the fan at C1 and C2, but once I go outside or even my garage where currently in Los Angeles it is in the low 90s while outside is at high 90s to low 100s Fahrenheit. The Coolify 2S barely does the job at C2 and C3 to move air and it's just ineffective at temperature above 85F even with the cooling plate. Certainly not at the price it commands. That being said, the customer service is excellent. They offer the Coolify Zone waist cooler to be used in tandem, so I will give that a try. Read more

Nothing works well when it comes to neck air conditioners. The perfect neck air conditioner has not been invented yet. HOWEVER, MY RATING IS BASED ON WHAT IT CAN DO IN SPECIFIC SCENARIOS, NOT ON WHAT IT CANNOT DO. My 5-star rating is also about comparison. I've purchased every neck air conditioner model—no joke—I am serious about finding a way to get cooler. I have done my research, watched every YouTube video, and read hundreds of reviews. If I rate this based on the comparison of other products on the market, it is the best out there in the neck air conditioner category. But none of them will keep you cool on a hot summer day outside. Your expectations need to be realistic. Comparing the two high-end ones, the Torras beats out the ranvoo. Torras keeps you cooler than the ranvoo, but neither are a true air conditioner. My five stars is based on being the best in the neck air conditioner category, not being the perfect product. In my opinion, None of the products on the market keep you cool outdoors on a hot summer day. They all fail, and that is why I am writing my recco and giving my stars based on what it can do. If I rated it based on my total experience, it would be lower, but it does help in specific scenarios, and so I want my review to help people like me, who may need to find ways to be cooler all the time, not just outside. I find this product super helpful to be cooler when indoors. And it works great in scenarios where everyone else is always comfortable, but you are running hot. It will help you become cooler and more comfortable when no one is hot but you. If you are a person who is always hot, like a peri-menopausal woman, or just someone who always runs warn, this product is for you; it will help keep you cooler in normal conditions. For example, when shopping in an air-conditioned store, everyone else is comfortable, but you are not, and this gives just the added boost you need to feel normal. Or if you are in an air-conditioned home but it's not cool enough, this is great for those times when most people are fine or freezing but you still need it cooler. This is great for when you are having a hot flash and need a quick burst of cold plates on your neck. When I am working at my desk, and the sunshine is beating in, it helps keep me cool without having to shut the shades while I am working. I hope this will help people who need help deciding whether to purchase. This COOLIFY is an excellent product for these scenarios.
