Despite it's high cost, this cap is really much better than the one that came with the original Aeropress and I'm very happy with it. As seen in the video, the coffee comes out in a very controlled stream, and most importantly only when you press down on the plunger. It's very annoying that the original cap causes coffee to leak out before you press the plunger and this solves that problem. Read more

This is a game changer for AeroPress brewing. No mess, no need for the "inverted" method. This is great for when I'm in a hurry and want the least amount of mess possible. Another benefit is that it stops that first bit of coffee from dripping out straight away. You know, that extremely sour and under extracted coffee that can ruin the whole cup? This thing stops that completely. For the cleanest cup, use this in conjunction with 2 paper filters. The extra layer of paper will catch most of those bitter coffee oils. Read more
