I've been looking for a monitor with a balance of features that would suit productivity, digital content creation while still offering a good gaming experience. Kudos to MSI, this monitor steps up in a big way and punches above it's price point. Strongly recommended if you can find this model on sale, it would make a fantastic secondary monitor to something higher end as well. I needed something with a very high color gamut which Quantum dot absolutely delivers, colors are a bit over saturated out of the box but you can reign them back using calibration hardware to something that is very good for even color critical work. The monitor also has decent color clamping modes for sRGB which it's older brother the MAG274QRF-QD did not support. Gamut range is approximately 100% sRGB, 98% DCI P3, 94% Adobe RGB, 80%~ REC 2020. Brightness in SDR mode overall is very good, my unit measured at around 416~ nits on pure white, this is pretty solid for use in a somewhat well lit environment. Don't buy this for the HDR400 label, it's gonna give you a sad, you NEED local dimming for proper HDR performance which this does not support. As for the panel's gaming performance, it's a step down from the MAG in terms of response time and motion clarity but i'd be hard pressed noticing the difference to be honest, i'm not professional gamer so this minor downgrade won't matter much to me. The FreeSync Premium implementation is butter smooth even at full 170Hz, you're not losing out much without G-sync premium. The build is all plastic but it feels sturdy, so does the adjustable base. The matte finish is un-offensive and quite acceptable for this price point, no RGB or extra bells and whistles, it's a pure workhorse. Tengo un monitor LG de 1080p ips 24gn600-b. Y comparando con este, claro que este es algo mejor por la nitidez y el panel Qled. Aunque la diferencia no es sobresaliente si es una mejora, pero no diría que obligada. Tengo un monitor Samsung G6 hdr 600, que si hace diferencia en el brillo, al ser este de 400 nits. Creo que esos 400 nits son muy comodos y suficientes para que los colores sobresalgan con el hdr, pero para que sobresalgan iluminaciones de luces por ejemplo un sol o una linea de luz neon tipo Cyberpunk, si son necesarios al menos eso 600 nits. O sea, el HDR en este monitor MSI G274QPF-QD si vale la pena, pero no es algo que sobresalga o deje una sensación de asombro. Aunque los colores la verdad se sienten muy bien, llamativos y suavez son sus 10 bits de color. Lo recomiendo en descuento, ya que hay monitores de 6mil pesos (Éste anda en $7500), y no creo que valga la pena ese gasto extra a menos que no te importe y el panel Qled que hace algo de diferencia pero no tanta te llame la atención. Yo lo compré en $4300. No sé cuanto tiempo estuvo a ese precio, pero en cuanto lo vi lo compré sin dudar, al ser vendido por Amazón México. Y como una hora después de que lo compré ya estaba de nuevo a su precio de 7500. La imagen es hermosa y suave la muestra de los colores, pero nada sobresaliente por la limitante del brillo o constraste. ¿Es mejor que un panel IPS normal?, sin duda lo es. Pero al no ser un cambio tan drastico, posiblemente sea mejor un monitor ips normal, a menos que si desees esa pequeña pero notoria diferencia en la suavidad y el como sobresalen más los colores. Lo recomiendo, por supuesto que sí. Pero si quieres algo más sobresaliente, ve por un monitor de al menos hdr 600. Aquí la ventaja es la suavidad de los colores y los vivos que son, sin sobresalir. After all that time I can say with no doubt this is the best: Why? The color accuracy is just amazing, watching spider verse movies in this will give you to other level, I have an oled screen and the colors of this IPS monitor are just the same. Quantum Dots make a big difference than other IPS. Resolution and size is ideal perfect to being in front of it working and not losing details, 27 inches is ideal, 32 inches is too big and if you I want something bigger go get a TV. The stand is really comfortable, at the begging I though the stand was going to be useful, but I was wrong you don't know how much since you get it. The frequency works well, any problem of image latency when you play. Bright is good, promese you can work at places with a lot of illumination, of course you are going to get best performance if using in dark places. The only bad thing is the contrast ratio and in consequence the hdr, is not worse and terrible but honestly there some other IPS with better black, is in you and your needs if is a determinant point. So to summarize I think this is the best monitor for the price, because the quality of the image is solid, and the construction materials of it are great, really close to an oled in all aspects except darks obviously, but an oled cost is twice or triple so is in you if you want to make the next step. Monitor is overall great, but the default color is garbage and needs calibration. The bezel on the monitor is quite big and bigger than my older LG monitor. This is a IPS panel so blacks are really just gray and whites arent that white. Thats just the way IPS is though. The monitor I received has 0 dead pixels but it does have too much light bleed in the top-right portion of the screen and I do notice it, but its not that big a deal to me. Again this is a IPS monitor and its random to how much and where you'll have light bleed at on the monitor. The image I uploaded shows this monitor on the left and the right monitor is a LG VA panel (so realize the LG VA panel is pretty much black) In games this monitor works great. Very responsible and fast. No ghosting or blurring. The stand on this monitor is a big bigger than it should be and the plastic on the entire monitor feels cheap, but the stand works great and is fully adjustable and rotatable. The real negative things about this monitor to me are #1 the power/menu button is on the back of the monitor and just annoying to use. #2 The inputs are placed vertically so you can't ever actually see the inputs on the monitor unless you put your head underneath it or rotate the screen. #3 Which is the biggest issue I have with the monitor. It switches resolutions VERY slowly. Its literally 4 seconds slower than my LG. Now this shouldn't matter 99% of the time, but for those that run other monitors in other resolutions or play games in other resolutions (streamers do this often ) It is a PITA to have to wait so long for it to switch. (such as when you alt+tab back to this monitor) I'll be keeping this monitor as it was only $269 and its great value for the money. You can also return it if you get a bad panel. so I recommend this. Muy bonito el monitor, se siente de buena calidad, había leído comentarios negativos acerca de pixeles muertos, o fugas de luz, pero he quedado sorprendido, quizá les toca 1 cada 1,000 personas que compran un monitor, llega a los 165hz, y haciendo overclock hasta los 170hz, lo utilizo con mi ordenador, y va increíble a 1440p, si tienes PS5 lo vas a disfrutar mucho porque esta optimizado para jugarlo a 1440p a 120hz, y si lo vas a conectar con el Xbox Series X/S, solo te va a reconocer los 1440p a 60hz, leía que no estaba optimizado para esa consola, pues este monitor tiene salidas HDMI 2.0b y no 2.1 para que así el Xbox reconociera los 120hz a 1440p. Llevo unos días con él, pero actualizare mas adelante mi reseña mientras lo probamos, lo compre en oferta y estoy más que feliz, esperemos que en el futuro los monitores tengan mejor desempeño, tendremos que esperar a que los monitores 4k no sean tan costosos, y suba el estándar visual del multimedia en internet para que las personas puedan ver la diferencia de calidad en los videojuegos a más de 60hz.
