I work in aviation maintenance this head lamp does everything I need it to. Locks so if I’m on a road trip and it’s in my bag it’s not gonna turn on on its own. It has high medium and low setting. I bought a lithium battery for it at petzil makes. The battery lasts three times longer than alkalines. Has a little light that shows battery life every time you shut the light on or off. I’ve used it in heavy rain and it seems to work fine, though I don’t recommend submersing it. The headband is easy to adjust with gloves on even while it’s on your head. Read more
