Come scritto anche nel titolo della recensione questa variante del castello di hogwarts è una delle interpretazioni più affascinanti e riuscite del mondo magico in versione mattoncino, e merita assolutamente le 5 stelle nonostante qualche piccola imperfezione che riporterò nella recensione. La qualità costruttiva si percepisce già al primo contatto con i pezzi: i mattoncini sono solidi, ben rifiniti e si incastrano alla perfezione, come ci si aspetta da LEGO. Il processo di costruzione è piacevolmente fluido e appagante, grazie anche a istruzioni illustrate in modo chiaro, dettagliato e progressivo, che rendono l’esperienza piacevole sia per chi è abituato a montare set complessi, sia per chi si approccia al mondo LEGO per la prima volta. L’effetto finale è davvero suggestivo: la resa estetica è di grande impatto visivo, con un equilibrio elegante tra dettagli architettonici e colori. La Torre dell’Astronomia, la Camera dei Segreti, la Sala Grande, il cortile con il platano picchiatore, il lago, la barca… tutto è realizzato con una cura maniacale che restituisce pienamente l’atmosfera di Hogwarts, rendendolo perfetto da esporre su una mensola o una scrivania. È un vero modello da collezione e rappresenta un must-have per qualsiasi fan di Harry Potter. Detto ciò, il set non è del tutto esente da piccoli dettagli che possono far storcere il naso ai più attenti. Le torri principali sono solo due, mentre nella realtà (e nei film) il castello di Hogwarts ne ha tre, e questo si nota una volta completato il modello. Inoltre, le colonne dell’edificio non poggiano direttamente sulla superficie, ma sono leggermente sospese, un dettaglio che può sembrare visivamente strano. Manca anche la vela sulla barca, elemento che avrebbe aggiunto ulteriore fedeltà all’opera originale. Tuttavia, si tratta di piccoli compromessi su un set che, nel complesso, è magnifico: il livello di dettaglio, la cura nella progettazione e la magia che riesce a trasmettere fanno dimenticare facilmente queste imprecisioni. I recently bought the Hogwarts Castle LEGO set, and I think it's an excellent value. When you compare the number of pieces to the price, it's one of the best deals out there. Building it took me about 7 evenings, dedicating 1-2 hours each evening. The set was divided into 22 bags, making the assembly process smooth and manageable. Each bag took around 30-50 minutes to complete, allowing me to split the work into shorter, very doable sessions. Before buying, I was worried the set might have repetitive elements, as it seemed from the picture. But while building, I didn't feel this way at all. When following the instructions, it felt quite balanced - with no tedious repetition of the same pieces. I was engaged and never bored throughout the process. The finished set looks stunning on my shelf, but I have mixed feelings about the extra chambers beneath the castle. Since this set is a miniature, these chambers lack detail and seem a bit out of place to me. Without the booklet, I might not have recognized what these rooms were meant to be. The same goes for the additional elements like the Durmstrang ship and Beauxbatons Carriage. Their size and placement don't quite match the scale of the castle, which feels a bit unnatural. Despite these points, the castle and the grounds look truly great and I would definitely recommend this set to any Harry Potter fan, whether you want to build it yourself or gift it to someone else. Per chi adoro la saga di Harry Potter questo set lo adorerà sicuramente. Abbastanza economico (considerando il castello grande della Lego), ma che esalta il castello della famosa scuola di magia e stregoneria di Hogwarts. Abbastanza facile da montare.
