Used this to replace a Snowball ICE that I used for podcasting since forever. Thought I'd try going the dynamic mic route but didn't have the scratch to go for a SM7B. Also tried AT-2005USB and it was just too quiet. Reviews said to try this. Cannot be happier with this. Great sound, low background noise, and tough metal construction. A freaking steal at this price point. I'm sure the SM7B is better, but after a little EQ and filters ( which you're going to do anyway ), it would take dog ears to notice a difference. Read more

The mic works as expected with a fairly accurate voice, maybe a bit on the bass side. The only problem is the boom arm sold with it that os absolutely useless and of poor quality.
