I’ve been using the Wet n Wild Megalast Eyeshadow Primer for a while, and it’s a mixed bag for me. The lightweight formula is definitely a highlight—it feels really nice on my skin and doesn’t weigh my eyelids down. I also appreciate the added Vitamin E, which gives it a soothing touch. However, it’s not as opaque as I had hoped. I bought this primer to even out my eyelid tone and use it as a stand-alone product on lighter makeup days. While it does provide a subtle improvement, it’s too sheer to completely cancel out discoloration or create that perfect blank canvas. That said, I still like wearing it when I’m going for a minimal makeup look or no eyeshadow at all. It smooths out my lids slightly and makes them feel refreshed. If you’re looking for a lightweight, comfortable primer and don’t need heavy coverage, this might be worth a try. Read more

This product far, FAR exceeded any and all of my expectations! It really does work, and it works so much better than anything else I've tried! Although it sounds ridiculously silly to say, I'm actually rather in awe of this product since this is the first time in 30 years of doing my makeup that I can get my eyeshadow to stay put---and it's easy to use and completely comfortable to wear! I have deep-set eyes with a heavy (and oily) lid, so no matter what tricks I tried, I could never get my eyeshadow to last more than a few hours without having that oh-so-irritating crease line appear. Frankly, despite my hatred of ruined eye makeup, I'm also way too cheap to spend a lot of money on an eyeshadow primer, so I had tried a variety of drug-store-ish products with no luck (even the allegedly famous Milani eyeshadow primer did absolutely nothing to mitigate my creases). So, when I bought this on a whim while it was on sale, and I expected just average results---but, I'm pleased to say, IT'S AWESOME! With this product, my eyeshadow has not creased even after 18 hours in hot, humid climates! This primer is the first one that actually keeps everything in place so that I don't have to worry about touch-ups! A little dab of the product goes on smoothly and dries down in about 20 seconds, and I think eyeshadows still blend just fine on top of it. I *LOVE* the fact that I cannot feel this product on my eyelids when using it---thank goodness for none of those weird or sticky residues like with many primers. For extra staying power/success, I do recommend dusting your lids with a bit of powder (I use setting powder) BEFORE adding this product to really keep things smooth all day long. Overall, I can't believe that I have such strong feelings about something as innocuous as eyeshadow primer, but this product is AMAZING. I'll shout it from the rooftops for all my crease-challenged friends, this stuff is worth the try! Read more

I didn't like this product at first. But it does work! What I didn't like is that there is no applicator, it's sheer, and it's very wet. All the things I'm not used to. However, my eyeshadow stays on my oily eyelids almost flawlessly for my whole 13hr work shift so I'm calling it a win. Read more
