I looked at many of the oversized touch screen units and picked this one for it's feature set and cost. It does virtually everything the units that cost twice as much do. Touchscreen - It is responsive and intuitive. I like the surface texture as well. It slides easily when panning a map. The display is nice and bright in full sunlight, and dims when the headlights are on. I have no issues seeing it day or night. Carplay - Connection to the phone is solid. Very rarely will it freeze, but the fix is a simple press of the home button and a reselect of CarPlay, and you're back in business. That happens maybe once a week during daily use. Usually related to the phone doing something challenging. Sound - The unit offered good EQ options and dual pre-amps for external amps. I have a Boss Audio under seat sub connected as well. I have intuitive control thorough the unit. It sounds great with my aftermarket speakers. Overall this is an outstanding unit for the price. Highly recommend. Read more

As others have said, it looks nice but you're rolling the dice on whether the bluetooth will connect every time you start your car. My unit is 3 months old and it connects roughly 40% of the time. When it does connect, it cuts out when I drive under any sort of power line. Not even kidding. Read more

This head unit is a great option of you want to update an old single -din stereo with a larger screen, backup camera and wireless carplay. I put it in an older Sprinter and it's exactly what I needed. It's pretty simple (limited customization options) but I'm not too concerned about every bell and whistle. Super satisfied. Read more

It may be pretty, and the screen may be nice and bright, but that doesn't matter if the unit doesn't work. It suffers from horrible connection issues to my phone. btw I have Pioneer and Sony radios in other vehicles, and they have zero issues with the same Motorola phone. Each time you turn the vehicle on, it's like playing the lottery. Will it work or not? Sometimes it would connect via bluetooth, and sometimes it wouldn't. It has the same issue with Android Auto. Sometimes it would work, and other times it wouldn't. When it doesn't connect, the only way to try again is to shut the ignition off for 10 seconds. Pushing the connect button on the phone or on the radio screen has no effect. The unit must be powered down. These issues are present whether you are using wired or wireless Android Auto. I thought it might be a wireless issue so I turned that feature off and connected the usb, but alas, that did not work either. I also experienced frequent loss of GPS. All of this makes the unit useless. This is really unfortunate, because the screen is wonderful. I really like the quick disconnect feature and the adjustable, swivel screen is top notch.
