The material has a premium quality feel ( better than the cover buddy case). However, the product did not work for me: - missing a pen holder (I felt that the pen may get lose every time that I moved it ; the cover buddy case has a pen holder that keeps it in place) - the iPad cannot charge while on the Magic Keyboard. - the magnetic charger is not very strong and I need to make sure that it aligns well. So, I need to remove the case from the Magic Keyboard or from the Pitaka folio case every time I want to charge it. So, it’s not ideal, unfortunately. I had to return it because it does not work for my workflow. However it is a beautiful case with a nice premium feeling that works pretty well. Read more

This is a nice case to go with Magic Keyboard for iPad Pro. The left side has about a half inch of the cover missing so it will close when used with Apple Magic Keyboard.. texture is ok, I’d prefer a little more grip to it when hand holding. Now the bad….. this cover will not charge your iPad if the usb c port is bad, the only way it will charge a iPad Pro or air is if your using it with the Apple Magic Keyboard, the 3 connectors on back charge thru keyboard. In order to charge with the charger that comes with this cover your usb c port on bottom of iPad has to work ! Read more

I use my iPad Pro almost exclusively with the Magic Keyboard. That combination made finding a decent case that offers ample protection nearly impossible. Enter Pitaka! I am thrilled at how low profile this case - zero negative impact to use with my Magic Keyboard. The case itself has a high quality finish that makes it easier to grip the iPad when using in tablet mode. The blue color is on another level altogether - worth the preorder. The USB-C cover fits seamlessly - feel so much better about placing this combo in my backpack for travel. Definitely a worthwhile expense to protect your high-priced iPad. Taking a step further - the charging feature works seamlessly with my MagEZ stand giving me a super clean setup when I have more desk space to use beyond the typical Magic Keyboard setup. I’ve been using Pitaka products for a while now. I used the iPhone 12 Pro MagEZ, iPhone 14 Pro MagEZ Pro 3, and iPad Pro MagEZ Folio. You can say I’m a massive fan of their products., I always loved the quality that Pitaka puts out, and the new MagEZ Pro 2 for the iPad is not anything different. The new case is very light, and the magnet on the back for the new wireless-like charging is very strong. The best thing about it, it works great with their MagEZ Folio. You can easily take it on and off, which is very convenient. I have not tried it with the keyboards, but I’m sure it should be similar to using their folio. The carbon fiber on the case has a feel to it, and it is very nice in quality. This gives in an excellent grip to it. On the bottom of the case, there is a cover for the USB port, so when you’re not using it to charge, it will keep dust from going in. Read more
