In many ways the Pro V9 is a great projector, but there are some problems with the design, first off it the cleaning, when I got mine there was a little black dot on the screen. I lived it with for a few days but it got annoying so I followed the cleaning instructions, the problem with that is the power sticker was over cleaning hatch so I had to remove it and then proceed to fiddle with the q tip for about 10 minutes trying to figure out which of the 3 lenses it was on, which is hard when using the projection image as a reference. The second thing I want to address is the poorish quality when using screen mirroring, through my phone it works great, but when I tried to use my laptop or desktop it was slow, poor quality and couldn't even hold a connection, and both were plugged in with ethernet when attempting with the projector linked to the Wi-Fi on the same router. Suggestion would to be add a ethernet port to the back for easier networking and higher speed transmission. Would allow home theaters to work of home servers better. My last and most knit picky thing is the startup animation, it's very slow and annoying after a while, wish there was a way to skip to the home screen or at the least have a static logo for a second. a year ago I was looking for an inexpensive projector to do summer movies on the back deck, so I ordered four different models from Amazon in the ~$150 price range and did some side by side comparisons. The Yaber had the best feature set, and was the brightest of the lot, so I kept it. In terms of visual performance, the only issue that really bothers me is the uneven focus towards the edge of the image, especially when projecting at high angles, but I can't nit pick too much given the price point. I did run into a problem with the built in PowerPoint viewer, where for some reason I could not advance slides from the remote, so I emailed customer support. To my surprise, I received a few hours later with an apology that the remote does not advance slides (the projector gets software updates so it may do so now but I have not checked), and offering me $20 cash back for the trouble which they credited my Amazon account with minutes later. I was amazed by this unasked for but welcome gesture, and between this and the unexpectedly great performance, I can highly recommend this projector specifically, and Yaber more generally. Read more
