So we live in a 90 year old house in an unincorporated area in eastern North Carolina. Summers are brutal. I have a small kitchen and it gets hotter than Dante’s hell in there when you’re cooking or using the oven. Not to mention the food smells that linger. I had been searching for a fan to go in there for awhile but the ceiling is too low for a regular ceiling fan. I typed “flush mount ceiling fan small” into the search bar and this little guy came up. I ordered it despite the mixed reviews and boy I’m so glad I did! It looks great and it was a breeze for this old lady to install. I had it up in less than 20 minutes. It came with a hook to hang the light on so you can wire it without struggling to hold the fixture. It doesn’t come with bulbs, and it takes 4. Either regular lamp bulbs or the “Edison” style will do. It comes with a remote that is used to control the fan. If you have a light switch, you just turn the switch on and use the remote. The remote comes with screws to mount it to the wall to act as the new switch. The fan has variable speeds and you can use the light without the fan or just run the fan without the light. The fan is so quiet. I leave it running on low all the time to circulate the air. It also has an audible ‘beep’ that sounds when you turn the light on but you can turn the beep off if you wish. We purchased 4 of these in 2024. We were in a remodel and they weren't all put up at the same time but as I write this, I can tell you that NONE of them work as they should. Hallway: When turning it on at the switch, the light blinks on and off. It reminds us of the old fluorescent bulbs blinking when the ballast was going out. Been up since April. Bedroom: The fan on this one worked all summer but the light does exactly like the one in the hallway, it blinks when you turn it off, brightens and dims and usually stays dim. This has only been up since July. Family Room: This one has been up since August or September. I work from home and it's above my desk. It randomly just shuts off and the fan will come on without being turned on. Kitchen: It works when it wants to, not when we want it to. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY! Update: We were sent new remotes and the piece inside the fan for the fans, apparently this was an issue they were aware of. Now the lights work but none of the fans work! Read more

Nice looking fan however the fan does not work. Lights work OK but the fan will not spin. It just shakes back and forth. When I spin the blades with my hand there seems to be a lot of tension on the motor shaft. Wasted 1/2 a day putting it up then taking it down. Now I got to get it to UPS. Then I have to return the bulbs to the store to get my money back for them. What a pain. The company contacted me and sent me a new fan. They read the review and figured the motor was bad. I bench tested the new fan and it works well. Its a nice looking fan . I'm happy that the company did the right thing without me having to chase them. Thank you. Read more

We love this light/fan ceiling fixture! We had previously purchased one for a small exercise room we redecorated and loved it so much we bought this one for a small kitchen to match. Very bright light with. clear 40 w bulbs, and the fan moves a good amount of air for its size. Love the look too! This particular one we had to exchange at first because one of the fan blades was broken in the box, but we think it was likely the fault of Amazon stacking something too heavy on the box which it clearly says not to do on the outside of the box. I purchased three of these ceiling fan&lights and within less than a year two of the three have now started flickering/strobing or the light portion has completely stopped working and only the fan works. I am utterly disappointed in the outcome of this because they are the perfect farmhouse look with a strong air flow that I was going for and they worked well for a short bit. These were out of my price range originally and I splurged anyway, to only find out the product you get for the price is not worth it and the website you are directed to for support is multiple other websites for parts.
