I’m writing this review at 12am on the toilet. I’m a competitive bodybuilder, so my diet is extremely clean and my meals are almost always the same, so it is very easy for me to distinguish if something doesn’t sit right with me and to know exactly what caused it…and boy this is it. I ordered this because I was bored with my usual plant protein flavor and I just caution anyone who also has sensitive digestion to just keep moving. Whey normally makes me feel this way so I am very confused why it happened with a plant protein powder. As far as taste and overall satisfaction go..10/10. But just an hour after finishing my shake I was immediately bloated and experiencing gas pains. I have tried many vegan protein powders over the years and this is by far the best one I've tried. The flavor and texture are much better compared to other vegan protein powders. This is actually the product that got me hooked on Legion. I have been drinking plant+ for years now and the mocha cappuccino and cinnamon cereal are my favorite flavors, although I just ordered the new apple pie flavor to try too. It tastes good in both water or a plant based milk. Do keep in mind, that it will not have the same taste or texture as Whey protein. This is the first plant based protein powder I’ve bought, and I will say it was not disappointing like I had anticipated. While the powder is easier to spill and knock into the air (making a bit of a mess) than whey, the flavor is just shy of tasting like vanilla ice cream (in fat free greek yogurt)! I’ve also made protein muffins that turned out nicely. Spongey texture, so it doesn’t get hard like whey protein! Read more
